Bags! Bags!

Monday.

Hubby asked me if i can go to ATC instead of SM Southmall to look for something. After lunch, i went to ATC and he instructed me to look for this shirt because he's planning to buy some. After lurking and looking for this boutique, i found it and guess what he want?

Hubby want this shirt that Manny Pacquiao wore.. He even asked me to take picture of this and see if its nice. He just saw this on tv and some of his officemates bought shirt from this boutique. Priced at P650.00. For me, i dont like it because when you try this on, you look like a rocker or some sort of tambay..hehe...What do you think? Is it nice?

Change topic. I also look for some bags as a gift to myself on my birthday... I look at some boutique with quality and nice bags. I want it to share with you and help me decide which one to choose. From my top 8 picks, id go for this 4 designs:

HAVAIANAS. I just took this pic on Havies site but when you see this in personal, i think youre going to love this. Perfect for casual attire. Price is P4,995. With the materials used in this bag, i think it will last..

LACOSTE. I always love Lacoste when it comes to bag. Proven of its quality, who wouldn't want lacoste bags? I have two choices here.

First is this brown leather bag, price is P13,000++, i forgot the exact price. I love the style of this bag and for sure nman walang fake na ganito..hehe

Second is this sling bag, perfect for travelling but it so small that only some can put inside like make-up, cellphone and some small things. Price is P3000++. I love the brown color..

CHARLES and KEITH. I don't have any Charles and Keith bag thats why i dont know if the quality of this bag is good but i love the designs here. When i saw this one, i just want to buy it but im having second thoughts because i also love the other bags from other brand, its the cheapest among the four. Price is P2,000++.

There you go, i want to buy all those...hehe...Dont know what to choose among the four...Please help me...

By the way, while im uploading this pic for my blog, hubby saw all this pic and he asked me what are these for. I just told him that i want a new bag for my birthday. Then he ask me about the details of all this bag and why i want that bag.

My reason is this:

With havaianas, i dont have any havies bag and i want to have one. With lacoste, i want any of the two because like what i've said, id go for the quality. I already have 2 Lacoste bag and since college until now, im still using it. On Charles and Keith, i like the design and again, i want to try if the quality will last.

Hubby just said to me na "wag na daw akong bumili :("...yun lang...i dont know what he means but ill just wait until after my birthday and after my trip...Ill definitely go back at ATC after my birthday and buy this Aerosoles sandals that i love. Price is P3,250.00. Sana may matira sa pocket money ko para mabili ko yung sandals.. Ill post it on my blog pag nabili ko na. But if not, sorry to me :(

I am really excited with my upcoming trip...Anyway..ill be leaving for Dumaguete and celebrate my birthday there. Ill be back soon..Happy birthday to me...

Merienda at Yellow Cab

After walking around, we had merienda at Yellow Cab before we parted our ways... Yellow Cab is located outside the mall and we sit outside the restaurant so tami and CJ can play...

What we order:

Tortilla Chips with Cheese Jalapeño dip P120.00

Cheese Jalapeño dip

Four Seasons Pizza P610.00

Hubby's favorite pizza at Yellow Cab. Everytime we order at Yellow Cab pizza delivery, its always a choice to stick to this pizza flavor..

Pepperoni and Mushroom P490.00

Ice cream pint P95.00

Meron na palang ice cream ang Yellow Cab? Grabe, ang tagal-tagal ko ng umoorder d2 pero nung Sunday ko lang nalaman that they have ice cream and with four different flavors to choose from. We tried the Chocolate and Vanilla flavor.

Its Cherry with my niece CJ, on my right side is hubby...taking his 3rd slice of pizza...Takaw! hehe

Club Princess in MOA

As i have said, we went to this outlet to look for a possible souvenir on my niece 7th birthday. And we love taking photos inside the store. Buti na lang they allowed us to take some pictures with their products pero its bawal talaga..

Para hindi nman nkakahiya, we bought an item in this outlet.

This Rainbow Crystal Bead set is priced at P350.00... am i right that this item is so expensive? You can even bought this thing in divisoria maybe for less than a hundred right?

Maybe because it comes from the Club princess that make it so expensive...

Look at this thing, they are the ordinary plastic beads with the string that makes you create a bracelet or a necklace or whatever you like... But for me, its not practical to buy this one...tsk..tsk.. Buti na lang hindi nagturo si tami dun...she just want to sit on the swivel chair in front of the mirror..maybe she wants a makeover? haha...Club Princess has a salon for kids...

Back at Racks for Lunch

With my previous post, i said that hubby wants to celebrate my birthday in advance because im not around on my birthday. Instead of going to ATC, we decided to go malling at MOA since some of my cousins and titas are there. We had lunch at Racks. I also said before that my cousins love dining at Racks. I also love the pork ribs there thats why if were looking for an affordable food, we always go there.

its my cousin Marvil, he dont know that i was taking a picture of him...hehe

After having lunch, my daughter and niece ride this mini ferris wheel and hubby accompany them. There they were looking at me while i took some photos of them.

After that we went to Club princess outlet to look for some souvenirs-to-be on my niece 7th birthday. Aren't they cute in this pic? I was scouting for some prices in this outlet and its so expensive here.

Im turning 29!

photo taken from cafepress.com

Im turning 29 next friday (January 29), just in case you dont know! hehe and it falls on a day where i'll be on a tour in Dumaguete. Gosh its my last birthday on my 20's.

Thinking of what i really want out of life now that im ageing a year older. Hhhmm.. I don't need or wish any material things now or i cant think of any because for me, i have it all na (gadgets, people who love and supports me, high-paying job) What else does a woman need? Waking up with my hubby and baby is more than enough to be happy and more thankful for. As i aged every year, i am looking forward to become more responsible, kind and patient. Eventhough im nearly 30, I don't feel old enough. So funny that i feel so much younger than i look on the outside. hehe

So much to be thankful to the Lord for another year, for all the blessings and for all the people that surrounds me. I love my hubby and daughter, i love my job, i love my life...I love everything being the Cindy Grace Silverio and now Cindy Grace Silverio-Undag.

I will not be having any celebration on my birthday because im in dumaguete that time. A while ago, while doing loads of work here in the office hubby texted and telling me to go malling this coming weekend to celebrate my birthday and i texted him back asking whose going with us, after a couple of minutes he replied back just to say its only us with our daughter (sorry to my relatives no treats on my birthday). Then the texting mode with hubby continues...

Thanks B for remembering my birthday and for always making me kilig...(how i wish all of you saw the smile on my face when i read his text) *wink*  Just a quick note: On our 10 years of being together, hubby always makes me kilig...he never changed since before (getting-to-know-each-other stage)..haha...treating me so special and always spoiling me :)

Happy Birthday to me :)

trip update!

In 2 weeks time, Ayen and me will be going to Dumaguete to explore its beauty. Our plan is to stay at Antulang and visit the Manjuyod Sandbar but when Ayen talk to her cousin whose a local resident in Dumaguete, he suggested to visit the Bahura Resort and Spa instead of Antulang so i hurriedly check Bahura Resort and Spa online and i immediately fell in love with the place.

I also check Antulang online but the reviews there are mostly negative :(

Anyway, Im still excited with our upcoming trip to Dumaguete kahit di na kami mag-Antulang....what is important is the Manjuyod Sandbar :) Another island hopping it is!

Im Back!

Welcome home cuzin Loven!

I went home in Laguna yesterday for some appointments and i also went at my cousin's house. I love staying at some of my relatives house for some reasons (on my mother's side), i love it when we had our kwentuhan, our laugh trip and i saw my cousin who just got back from his work at luxury ship in Europe and i was glad that he came home safe but i can feel that he's really tired (he's adjusting to Philippine time now).

After having lunch in their humble home, we went to mall with my cousin to check her business and decided to have an hour of massage in the mall. Guess where we had our massage? Its a massage parlor and all the masseuse are blind. Rates are P250 per hour but since they have an ongoing promo, we've got the rate of P200 per hour :)

While waiting for our turn, my cousin mentioned that they planned before in putting up a massage parlor but since my other cousin changed his mind after going to luxury ship, he's planning now to venture in van service business so the massage parlor plan left behind. Now the topic has brought up again and i said i want to join their business, but we have to look for a good location. Planning to put up somewhere in Laguna.. **cross-finger** Sana matuloy...

Looking Forward to 2010...

Christmas and New Year is over so we're now back to reality.

My credit card bill from last holiday purchases (month of december purchases) arrived and i know how much i am going to pay because i always make it a point to jot down notes of my expenses. I also make sure to pay it in full. I dont want debt, especially with credit cards...

But im still shock when i saw my bill because my booking with Cebu Pac on my trip to Cebu was billed twice. I booked a ticket online last November 12 at Cebu Pacific worth P4,200++  and i already pay it last December and now my new bill has it again...Grrrrr! Enough. Now i am done coordinating with Cebu pac's customer service regarding my concern and they will refund the corresponding amount...Kainis..my first time to fly with Cebu Pac but they gave me a dissapointing service in booking online. Hay....

MOVING FORWARD TO 2010...

  • Tami's birthday and preparation for her schooling (means lots of gastos..) Kuya bing is requesting for another beach birthday celebration of tami's bday like we did last year.

  • Making plans for our HK trip...(it was our plan last year because we want to bring Tami to Disneyland but did not push through because we plan to have our 2nd baby...and until now wala pa rin kaya we plan again the trip to HK...

That's it for now.....I have loads of work to do....By the way, kuya bing and I dropped by at MOA yesterday to buy the Preview Magazine and most of the magazine in the bookstore has Jinkee Pacquiao on the cover...Good start for her 2010 career...

As i was scan the pages and read some part of Jinkee Pacquiao's page, Gosh! she has 9 birkin bags! Hay...**dreaming** Wishing for a birkin bag....

Ying-Ying Teahouse at Binondo

What is a trip to Binondo if you didn't eat at any Chinese resto or trying out dumplings?

After shopping of hopia and other Chinese delicacies, we were hungry and we noticed that our favorite restaurant named Estero was gone! For all the years that we've been to Ongpin, its always majority choice for all of us to eat at Estero. So sad:) A building is soon to rise at Estero place...

We walked along Ongpin hoping to find a place on where to pig-out aside from the Presidents place (there's a humor that the chef of the President's place opened a restaurant called Ying-Ying)  and kuya bing discovered this restaurant along Dasmariñas St.

Ying-Ying restaurant can be found in Dasmariñas St. It is a very typical Chinese Restaurant. Consist of 3 floors..I recommend that you stay on 2nd or 3rd floor kasi sa ground floor medyo mainit. After settling down, kuya bing made our order.

Were only 5 and when our orders were served, we were shocked on how big the servings are..We order Siomai, Hakao, Crispy Squid, Fish Fillet with Corn Soup, Lechon Macau, Spinach, Yng Chow Rice, Pancit Canton. For Our drinks, Watermelon Shake and water only.

Hakao or shrimp dumpings...the best!

Pancit Canton - its like the one in North Park but without shrimp and pork..

Lechon Macau..everytime we go to any Chinese restaurant. Lechon macau will not skip our menu..

Yang Chow Rice..i noticed that their yang chow rice has lots of shrimp, pork, veggies and other toppings...very tasty...i love it!

I think this is Spinach

The crispy squid or what we fondly called as Calamari or Calamares (the top most on the picture above) and the Fish Fillet with Corn soup (below the calamari).

I think servings are good for 4 to 5 or more than. Sorry i dont know the price of what we order because im not the one paying for it...But i think the price is so affordable thats why there are lots of people come and dine here. The food was really satisfying.. Ill bet sure im going back here...

Eng Bee Tin: Home of the Best Hopia and Tikoy

Everytime were going to Ongpin, we never miss to drop by at Eng Bee Tin. Who wouldn't know the famous hopia and tikoy that made it's name to success. With its 90 years of existence, Eng Bee Tin proved that thay made an excellent and fresh products and that it did not stop to innovate and search for the demands of their loyal customers.

Different kinds of Chinese delicacies were found here..

The Hopia shelve...You can choose different flavors from Pandan, Baboy, Mocha, Ube..etc and my favorite among all is the Red Mungo flavor, I also love dice hopia and the mooncake. All hopia is priced at P32.00 and mooncake at P100+ depends on what size you get.

Everytime my Lola went here, she always go home loaded with lots of delicacies from Eng Bee Tin...she's hoarding the hopia here...haha...Pero ok lang kasi may take-home nman kami from what she bought :)

And oh.. Eng Bee Tin has VIP card now for those loyal customers and will earn you points everytime you shop there. I don't know the details of it but if you pass by at Eng bee Tin, don't forget to inquire. My cousin has a VIP card and when we bought lots of deli here, the shop gave him freebies...cool isn't it?

Visiting Quaipo Church...

Jan. 11, 2010 (Monday)

Kuya bing called me to join them going to Quiapo.

Since we were young, its been tradition to our family to attend the mass at Quiapo church in celebration of the Black Nazarene but since its too crowded, we planned it after the celebration so our lola can go there without any hassle. We attend the mass and pray as we thank the Lord for all the blessings they showered us.

By 9:00am (we arrived there with my two lolas (lola fe and lola vinyang), my aunt, kuya bing and me. We attend the mass and then fall in line to pray for the black nazarene. I feel so blessed everytime the priest whisk some of the holy water. After the mass, we went to Ongpin, my relatives are so fond of jewelries and feng shui...kaya nahahawa na ako sa knila!

First, we drop by at this Chinese stall which kuya bing recommend to read our 2010 feng shui. Second, we went to Ongpin para lang magpagawa ng bracelet...

this picture i took was from Ongpin....thats kuya bing and tta baby waiting for the Chinese man that will customized their bracelet...

hehe...they didn't know i took some photos..

Feng shui bracelet worn by kuya bing...There's nothing wrong if you believe in fengshui, as long as you dont forget to believe in God. hehe...I myself believe also...why not? Maybe someday i won the lotto or sweepstakes...hehe...the problem is im not putting some money to bet..haha...I still believe in God...

As we wait for them, my two lola and me keep on chatting while eating chestnuts..**yum**

After the Ongpin...we went to Eng Bee Tin... see my next post :)

My New Planner...

My planner design..

Some freebies found inside the planner....

Reason for Tami's tantrums: Barbie bike

Since December, she was telling us that she wanted Barbie bike. New Year came and she still insisting to buy her Barbie bike..

2 weeks ago (late post again! haha), we went to Sm Southmall to buy her the bike.. First, we bring her to National Bookstore to choose some books but she get toys instead of book.

After at NBS, we went to Toy Kingdom for the bike...

We let her try the bike if she can ride this alone..After some conversation or kulitan with tami and hubby we finally told the sales rep to assemble the new bike...

Seems pretty pro when riding the bike...

We waited for almost an hour for this little pink bike...hubby choose the design for tami and i liked it also..

Aarrgghhh...P 2,199.00 additional damage to pocket since Christmas....

Enough. Its New Year and its time to start anew.

Chili's at Greenbelt 5

After having coffee and merienda in Cantinetta, we decided to stroll at Bonifacio High street before having dinner. We were surprised when we arrive in Boni high street because it was crowded with people, some are just staying on the center because its like park and some are dining and shopping there.

In less than an hour we decided to leave the place and went to Greenbelt for our dinner. We sat down at Chilis at Greenbelt 5 for our dinner. The only restaurant that is open that day was Chilis and CPK only and since we had pizza at Cantinneta we ended up in Chilis. While waiting for our turn at Chilis we ask my cousin to take us some pics at the giant xmas tree..

family pic at G5

Chilis

We dine alfresco at Chilis...chit-chat while waiting for our orders...

After a few minutes, some of our orders were served...our all-time favorite...

Chicken crispers (P290.00)

This is my order that consist of chicken breast deep-fried to perfection with french fries and corn..i love the salty taste and the crispiness of the fries especially when dipped at the  honey mustard sauce, i even asked for another cup of mustard...

Old Timers burger (P290.00)

This is hubby's order..He always loved burgers thats why he settle down for this and he's still full with the pizza that we ate at Cantinetta. The servings is very generous, hubby cant consume this alone so he gave me a portion of his burger.. His comment about the burger is that the patty is too salty for his taste but he still love it...The side dish with this meal is the french fries that makes it an ideal to share...

Bottomless lemonade..

Complete pics with cousins while waiting for some orders...

Chilis can be found at Greenbelt 5 and if you crave for Mexican-American food, Chilis is the best choice and they're open till 12 midnight during weekdays and 2am during weekends.
We leave Makati at around 10pm....what a day to start the New Year...

Cantinetta in Burgos Circle

Cantinetta is located at the new hang-out place called Burgos Circle at The Fort with so many restaurants around and surrounded by condominiums. We arrived at around 4.30pm and some restaurants are empty with diners and in Cantinetta there were just a few tables occupied maybe because its January 1 and everyone was celebrating new year with their relatives while we chose to go out...

Cantinetta

me, hubby and cousin EJ..photo op while waiting for our orders.

My baby..still sleepy...

Cantinetta interior is really homey and very sophisticated with the style....oh i love it.. However, we stayed outside the restaurant to go sight-seeing with the passers-by...Some go walking with their cute pet and we enjoy looking at their dogs.

Our first order was coffee since Cantinetta serves Illy coffee...we all ordered different kinds of coffee, from cappucino to macchiato..i guess they made an effort for this presentation....Each coffee costs P105.00

We also ordered Quattro Formaggi Pizza P400++. since Ate Dalyn love the four cheese pizza. This italian pizza consist of 4 cheeses: parmesan, gorgonzola, mozzarella and ricotta. The pizza was soft and flavorful and with crisp crust and its really cooked to perfection. You can't really go wrong with this pizza. I love it!

My cappucino

I ordered Watermelon shake (P145.00)  for my daughter

With my cousins

It was really good here specially at night, the lights in every corner are very dramatic and the atmosphere becomes romantic especially if you dine there with your someone special.. Cantinetta serves good food in a superb location. Also with the great staff, they deliver your order very promptly and always with the smile, they're very attentive also..Expect that the price was a bit pricey with tax and service charge for this upscale restaurant and if you prefer an Italian cuisine, i highly recommend this place!
