ABSCBN studio tour and Showtime

Three weeks ago, my officemate made the reservation for an ABS-CBN studio tour together with the Showtime show.

April 26 (Monday) We headed to ABS-CBN as early as 8am so we can get our stickers for the studio tour. By 9am, our studio tour guide gathered us for the Showtime and we enter the studio for the dance rehearsal. As you may know, all the audience needs to participate and Mel Feliciano taught the audience of what to do and giving us the hint where to start.

If you are going to watch live in their studio, you need to have lots of energy because its very tiring dancing and shouting. mauubos ang lakas mo while inside the studio.

THE HURADOS (L-R) - Vice Ganda, Gladys Reyes, Bobby Andrews, Carlene Aguilar and Jong Hilario

During commercial break, what happens in the studio is rehearsal again and in the picture above, Kuya Kim instructed the girl beside us that the two of them will sing and dance.

This photo was taken during commercial break.

During the studio tour, we also saw Mickey, the previous PBB housemate, Tyrone, Aiko Melendez and Baji (dont know the right spelling).

Our tour guide bring us to ASAP studio and the Going Bulilit is having their taping that day. Photo above was the setup. We saw some of the bulilit cast. We also took some pictures with Dagul..hehe

This photo was taken at the Studio tour office because my sup bought his souvenir shirt. He's certified kapamilya..

I saw this inside the office. It is the photos of some of the artists who has their hands molded in a clay as a sign that they've done a mark in the showbiz industry.

Some of the old artist with their marks..

After having lunch at the ABS-CBN loop, we dropped by at PBB Kuya's house since it is across the ABS-CBN building.

With my teammates except for the two in front of us wearing white and black. They are the nieces of my team-mate.

I really enjoyed going with them and watching Showtime live. It was my second time with the studio tour, my first was 4 years ago with my relatives, the difference is when we go there before, we had TFC tickets given to my Aunt when they were in US. I remember we stayed in the ABS until 6pm watching ASAP, one of the afternoon show (dont remember the name of the show) and The Buzz. But here we are allowed for Showtime only. I dont know if its really different with the package or is it because we have the TFC tickets before. Anyway, sana maulit and this time with Wowowee...hehe

Note: Dont just go there if you dont want to experience falling in line outside waiting for nothing. You can call the studio office for the reservations and pay thru bank. For the showtime and studio tour, we pay P150.00 each.

For Reservations, you can call the following numbers:

Tasting Razon's

Yesterday, i went to SM Center to do some bank errands. I also decided to have my hair rebonded in Going Straight since they have 50% off promo. Thanks to them, it made me hungry and problematic.. hehe ..ill tell later. As i was looking for what food to eat, i saw the newly opened Razon's. I remember when my team-mate was telling me about the food in Razons when they were in Market Market after office hours. I decided to give it a try.

I ordered their specialty: Halo-halo and Pancit Luglug. While waiting for my order, i kept on thinking of what am i going to do and what im going to say to hubby. I withdrew money to our savings for some bills to pay, tami's milk and allowance till our salary. I also asked hubby for an additional amount for the hair rebonding.

After the bank (11:30am), i went to Going straight and have my hair rebonded without asking how much it would cost me. I expect that it will not cost me more than a thousand bucks because its 50% off and i only have shoulder length hair. After long hours of process (more than 5 hours), guess how much my bill was, its freaking P3,418!!!. The staff told me that the promo of 50% comes with a package, that's why i also had footspa and handspa. Heck! what if i dont have enough money then? tsk. tsk..lesson learned - ask before you go.

Now my problem is i dont have enough allowance till my salary. huhu. Hubby's salary is on friday and mine is next tuesday... What am i going to do?....

Then the waiter arrived with the utensils first....its time to pig-out!

Pancit Luglug (PhP 85.00)

Its tasty. It's like pancit malabon but i still like the one in Amber's.

Halo-Halo (PhP 85.00)

Their famous halo-halo. This is expensive. Don't have much ingredients, i only saw leche flan on top, macapuno and some sweet bananas.. i don't know the other ingredients and i think its not worth the price. I like it though...As my cousins says 'wala nman hindi masarap sa akin'...

When i got home and told hubby what happen, he was mad at first but he still accept my apology..Sorry be...

Tami's 4th birthday

April 17. The day before my baby celebrate her birthday, my cousin kuya bing went to our house to personally greet tami and give his gift. Hubby and I decided one thing - no party for tami this year. Why? because the Hongkong trip is our gift to her since he kept on saying she wants to go to Mickey's house (she always see disneyland park in Disney channel).

Thanks to Kuya bing for the gift - Mossimo shirt and 2 dresses. Saktong-sakto yung size nung dress kay tami..perfect for summer.

Sunday. April18. Hubby woke tami up and greet her a "Happy Birthday". Tami replied "Where's my balloon?" Hehe. We didn't expect that she will expect some balloon, maybe she knows that birthday comes with balloons. I was thinking that day where can i buy a piece of balloon?

Since we want her to feel that it's her day, I went to Goldilocks and bought some goodies like puto, mamon, polvoron and of course the birthday cake, my mother-in-law cooked Spaghetti, Pancit Bihon, and some macaroni. We only have some relatives as tami's guests.

When its time to blow the candles. All of us sings Happy Birthday and tami was smiling while we sang. She also wore one of kuya bing's gift.

After we ate, we surprised her with our gift, i bought 2 gifts at SM. One from hubby and one from me. She was really excited while unwrapping the gifts. The best part is when she say "thank you Mama, thank you Papa", with feelings pa yan...

Wii Fit

From our Twitter conversation, hubby was convinced that Wii is a good buy. Here's what my cousin tweet:

Wii fit is an effective workout? hhhmmm...Now i know why my cousins enjoying the wii fit that supposedly for their Dad. My aunt bought my Uncle a Wii fit for some reasons. When hubby read all the tweets on my account, he suddenly thought of buying Wii because of the game and my sister-in-law want it also because of the fit and they've decided to buy one. Hubby and sis-in-law will be sharing for all the cost...

This morning, my cousin and i talked thru facebook about this wii thing, the cost, the games, everything about Wii. I also learned that the sale price of Wii in US is $199 (console and 1 controller only). What makes the Wii so expensive is the other controllers, the discs and some things you need to use with the games. Its a lot cheaper in US because when he send complete Wii package to my niece last year, it costs him around $1,500, this hefty price comes with the console, 4 controllers, fit, lots of discs, driver and other things needed for some games. When his wife compare the price here with what he send, the whole thing costs P120,000...P50,000 cheaper in US..

Its really a lot... Now he told me that since were only after the Wii fit, it will only cost us around $600...But if we add games, that's another price...

$600 converted to pesos is P27,600 (rate of 47). Much cheaper compare here in Manila. Now the question is, is it really worth it?

Lets see...I have to talk to some of my cousins abroad and see where can i get a good buy with the Wii....

My Baby

Just wanna share with you the photos of my daughter. Come April 18, 2010, my baby will celebrate her 4th birthday...

This photo was taken (pic above) at the hospital when i gave birth 4 years ago. I delivered her via Ceasarian. It is funny then because I gave birth at exactly 11:59pm of April 18, we were asking my OB if we can make it at April 19 but she didn't allowed it. My tita whose midwife assisted my OB and she was telling me that when i was at the operating room, Hubby was really nervous and he keeps on lighting cigarette outside and was also afraid because when i brought to my room, im chilling because of the anestesia. Im so thankful because hubby was the one who takes care of me. I stayed at the hospital for 4 days.

This shot was taken before her christening. She really is a happy baby.
Isn't she cute at 1 year old? It was her 1st birthday. We celebrate it at the house with my relatives. We never did the traditional celebration of 1st birthday at Jollibee or Mcdo because according to them, she will not appreciate the party because shes too young.

This picture was taken when she was 2 years old. She also loves going to mall like me. At her 2nd bday, we again celebrate it at our house and invited some of our friends and their kids. Actually, it was hubby wants to celebrate it again because he want his friends to come by and have the inuman session. If i were to choose, id rather not celebrate it every year.

Tami at 3 years old. We celebrate it in White Cove at Laiya, Batangas upon the request of my relatives. They want to go to the beach.

Like what i said, come April 18, we will celebrate again her birthday, but we still don't know what to do. Any suggestion? But before that, i want to greet my baby in advance...

Happy Birthday Tam!

Mama and Papa loves you!

Bato Springs in Alaminos

Sorry for the delayed post. I was busy these past few days.. hehe

Last April 4, we had an impromptu decision to go swimming. At first, Hubby and I cannot decide if were going with my in-laws because we came from a friend's house in BF Homes. Its a get-together with some of our college friends and we cannot say no to them. We dont want to be left alone at home so we decided to join kahit walang tulog.

Our plan is to go to Villa Escudero but since it was an impromptu and we cannot do reservation that time. By the way, we leave the house at 9am and we dont have time then to call any resort. My sis-in-law suggested the Bato Springs instead, they've been there when they are young. Im not familiar with Bato Springs thats why i cant interact with them. I cant relate to them when they recall their experience years back.

When we arrived at Bato Springs, i was amazed with the place because according to hubby, it was renovated na from the previous look.

This falls behind hubby is only one of those in the place. Its really amazing how they've made it. The water is so cold and comes from the naturals.. No chlorine and its crystal clear...

Family picture..sayang wala sila Juvy that time...

Tami was really afraid at first but later on enjoyed the water...

Enjoying the water..

I love how the water splashed through my back. Para kang minamasahe.. Also, if youre here and want to experience the falls, it is not advised to wear swimsuits unless its ok with you to have your swimsuit get malfunctioned..haha

Its cold but not ice cold. You should try this natural spring. Well its open to public and they collect just a hundred peso for each pax. Its ok to share it with some people because its running water so youre sure that its really clean.

I really love the experience here but it also saddened me because my digicam got wet and now busted. Huhu..

Bato Springs can be found in Alaminos. Im not really sure of the exact location. They said you will reach this before the Villa Escudero.

ROYCE Chocolate from Japan

Everytime i had an extra time, i always drop-by in Greenbelt just to buy a bar of Royce chocolate.

What is Royce?

Royce began in 1983 in Sapporo where the crisp climate, sweet waters and clean air make Hokkaido an ideal place for confectionary making.

Due to demand in the early years, ROYCE' began taking orders from customers from outside Hokkaido by telephone. Customers' names and addresses were manually recorded and their orders sent one by one from the factory. That was the beginning of our mail order system.

And when we started to bake cookies, people in the vicinity were drawn over by the fragrance from the factory. So tableswere put in front of the factory and the cookies were sold. That was the beginning of our retail shops.

Over the years ROYCE' has been gradually mastering the techniques to make really good chocolates of world class quality, with total dedication.

Today ROYCE' chocolates are enjoyed by chocolate lovers not just in Japan, but in many other countries around the world.

The fundamental ROYCE principle has always been to use only the highest quality ingredients, at a price that customers can easily afford.

We will continue to make high quality chocolates by observing our fundamental principles, and challenging our creative spirit.

Royce serves different kinds and flavors:

Pure chocolate, Prafeuille Chocolat, Chocolate Wafers, Potatochip Chocolate, Nutty Bar Chocolate, Amande Chocolat, Bar Chocolate, Baton Cookies, Petit Truffle, Marshmallow Chocolate, Coffee Beans Chocolate, Macadamia Chocolate, ROYCE Street, ROYCE Collection Can, Kokutoh Chocolate, Coffee Chocolate, Potechi Crunch Chocolate, Criollo Chocolate, Karintoh Chocolate, Kurumaro Chocolate, Nama Chocolate and the Aroma Collection

This is the store in Greenbelt 5 serving different kinds of Royce...

My favorite among the selections are the Nama, Potatochip and the Bar Chocolate...

I always buy Royce chocolate so i can try all its flavors. Last time i went there, i bought the cheapest one, the Bar chocolate priced at P250.00. Hubby also liked it.

ROYCE Chocolate price ranges from P250 (cheapest one) to P990.00. They also offer the ROYCE Collection Can for the price of P2,100.00.

Oakley Bag

Last wednesday, I went to Boni High Street alone after office (its 10 mins walk from our office) and met with my cousins (ej and kuya bing) just to buy Oakley shades, it is supposed to be the Fitflops that were planning to buy but theres no size available. I also got pissed off because we stayed in high street till 9pm because of the tshirt that my cousins want to have. It is the shirt made for the lenten season. Theres also an event in High street, the station of the cross in the middle, lots of artists participating in the said event. Well, we didn't get bored because we saw a lot of artists..

at Oakley store

the shades.. its really nice..

While waiting for the oakley staff to swipe my card, i took the pic of this shades (pic above) for my blog. I also lurk around the store and found this cute bag (pic below)..

**drools**

I immediately want this Oakley bag but i controlled myself for buying this because for sure hubby will get mad at me again. Yes, he got mad at me when i bought the Zara Bag couple of weeks ago.. I bought that bag to match my outfit for my niece 7th birthday.. At first, tinago ko pa sya then later on he found out my new bag hidden on our closet. haha. Anyway i still want this Oakley bag and i need to think how can i own this with hubbys permission..Its P2,595...can someone give me this bag as a gift? hehe **asa!**

This Holy Week...

During this time of holy week, i remember that it is one of opportunity that all of us in the family gathers in my lola's house in Laguna. It is a tradition for us to have the Bisita Iglesia wherein we are visiting some churches and sometimes joining the procession..

While some take this opportunity to be in vacation out of town, go to beach and spend time with their family or friends, we cannot blame those who work 7 days in a week because this is the only time they've got.

But wherever we are, never forget to pray during this time. It is also time for fasting, take time to talk with God.

Have a blessed week everyone!
