Handset for Sun Cellular Plan 350

Last week, when i pay my postpaid bills in Sun Cellular SM Center branch, i was informed that i can avail of the retention with our postplain plan. Hubby and i are using Sun line as our second line and phone. The other line's renewal will be on November so its only one line that we can renew. With so many units to choose from, i waited and check the internet so i can choose which handset to get. I even consulted hubby and some of my officemate which unit is ok.

Im not a fan of any high-end fone, i just want Radio and flashlight. With all the handsets lined-up in Plan 350 i chose Samsung because of the quality. I also learned the Samsung Corby 2 has been offered to Plan 350 recently so i decided to get it.

Yesterday, hubby's cousin (Janssen) and i met at SM because she asked a favor to bring her documents (Maternity sickness notification) in the office and since im in SM already, i went to Sun outlet and get my new fone.

Here it is:

My new Samsung Corby II

Designed for young consumers, Samsung Corby 2 S3850 builds on the success of its predecessor with enhanced social networking capabilities and a more touch-friendly design. Corby 2 flaunts a capacitive touchscreen, which should make playing games and using apps a great experience. Users can also use the device's integrated Social Hub to stay in touch with friends via email and social networking services like Facebook or Twitter over Wifi.

See the info and specs here.

Unit upclose... Nice no?

I was busy yesterday navigating the fone and at first sobrang nahihirapan ako because of the touchscreen, im not used to it. Text and call lang kasi ang alam ng lola nyo! haha

I like the unit because its new and because of the following:

- 2MP camera - yes! upgraded na ang camera compared to my old one.
Wifi - my first time to have wifi fone. Baka maging twitter addict na ko nyan..
- MP3 - im a certified music lover.. buti na lang mahilig din mag-DL si hubby..
- Radio - syempre i need this because i love listening to Goodtimes with Mo, Mojo and Grace Lee every morning (89.9 Magic)

Hay... Best things in life are free and thanks to Sun Cellular for another new cellphone :)

ATC's Family Lounge

Whenever im in ATC and if there's a need to pee or release the call of nature hehe, i always go to the Family Lounge because of the well-cleaned CR, i didn't say that comfort rooms in ATC are not clean but i prefer going in the Family Lounge. What i like most here is that you can stay here and rest especially if you have kids to attend to or you need to nurse your baby etc.. I took some photos for you to see the lounge..

Taken outside the lounge..

Before going home last Sunday, we drop by here to pee and also to stay at least a couple of minutes to rest while Tami plays in the playroom.

The view from where i sat.

There are couches outside the playroom, see there are lots of yayas looking after their kids in the playroom. If you dont wanna bring your kids to some playhouse that has fee, then you can bring them here provided that you will look after them unlike in the playhouse like Dave's Funhouse, you can leave your kids there and its guaranteed that your kids are safe.

The Playroom

It is not that big but enough for the kids to play around. It is carpeted and dont worry because it is also airconditioned, there are also some toys for the kids.

Tami playing inside the playroom while im outside reading magazine and taking some photos for my blog.

And whats nice here is that they also have computer stations where you can play or surf in the net. At sosyal ha, apple ang desktop..

The reading materials...

See, there are lots that you can do in ATC's family lounge but it is not tambayan. If you're going to the comfort room, you just have to pay P10.00.

Drop by if you want to see it yourself. Thumbs up!

Pepper Lunch @ ATC

With my previous post, i told you that we ate in Pepper Lunch for our lunch. Its my first time eating there and i didnt know what to expect. We walked in first and check the menu, hubby and i decided to try it since its new to us. Well, Pepper Lunch has been around the metro since i dont remember and since we had the chance last Sunday, we finally give in. From what i know, Pepper Lunch is a DIY Japanese Teppanyaki and i love Japanese dishes so this become one of my restaurants to go to when in ATC.

What is Pepper Lunch?

Pepper Lunch is an affordable DIY fast food steakhouse with more than 200 outlets in Japan. Pepper Lunch promises a dynamic and fresh culinary experience for everyone by presenting the novel concept of a sizzling steak. You can enjoy juicy steak with a sizzle at affordable prices.

Pepper Lunch facade

We settled outside since its not that hot because of the weather. We first order what we want to try and since its lunch, we both want rice. The ordering here is just like in other food regular food chains, fall in line, order in the counter and on the receipt you will see your designated table. Unique setting!

The funny thing is we get our table first outside and when we got the receipt, it has the same table number. Coincidence?

Here's what we tried:

Hubby got Beef Pepper Rice..

Mine's teriyaki...hhhmmm? ( i forgot the name)

After they completed our orders, hubby and i are staring to each other because we dont know how to eat it! hehe.. Yun pala nasa paper yung instruction.. hehe

See the paper on the plate? This tells on how to eat the Pepper Rice. You just have to mix all the ingredients on your plate and put some sauce in it. Be extra careful not to touch the plate because its really hot.

My Food. Its super duper yummy! Addictive! My order is fulfilling maybe because of the egg.

What's Unique with Pepper Lunch? Definily the iron plate.

With its unique design patented in Japan, the iron plate is part of the successful formula of Pepper Lunch.

Using a special electromagnetic cooker also patented in Japan, the iron plate will heat up to 260C in 70 seconds and remain hot (approximately 80C) for more than 20 minutes. Meat grilled at this ideal high temperature, remains tender and juicy. The plate keeps food warm for a longer time and customers can enjoy the full flavor of the dish.

The happy campers enjoyed Pepper Lunch so much. See the proof?

Since im watching my diet and rice consumption, maybe will try again other menu in this branch next month. Steak next time!

Sunday Date

Yesterday, even if its raining we still went to ATC because hubby wants to buy new shoes. Before going to ATC, we drop by again to Starmall and go back to the stall who fixed hubby's PSP because there's something wrong in what they did last Saturday.

After fixing the PSP we headed to ATC, thinking that its Sale i thought we can buy cheap shoes but boy i was wrong! Most sales are from 10% to 30% only. Most items that are on big sale did not fit hubby's taste when it comes to shoes.

When we arrived in ATC, we went first to Dave's Funhouse to leave Tami there. Since tami will be playing there, i make sure that she's already full kaya sa house pa lang pinakain ko na sya ng marami kasi hindi sya nakakaramdam ng gutom pag nasa playground. After checking-in Tami to Dave's Funhouse, Hubby and I look for a restaurant to have our lunch and Pepper Lunch it is.

Tami while in Dave's Funhouse

We went back in Dave's Funhouse after eating lunch to check on Tami and bring water so she can drink anytime and told her that if she needs something, just tell the ate (attendant) so she can text me if there's a problem.

After at Dave's Funhouse, hubby and I started our shoe hunting..

Snow White while doing shopping...

If you knew hubby, you know how arte he is! He dont like buying on Sale kasi for sure marami na syang kapareho and ayaw nya ng sale kasi pangit daw. So imagine us walking around the ATC going back and forth looking for shoes and shirts for him.

When he gets tired, and after buying our footwear, we went back to Dave's Funhouse again to check again on Tami and at the same time rest.

Hubby on the waiting area of Dave's Funhouse while playing PSP.

When he recharged his energy, we walked again for his shirts naman. hay kung ako shopingera, i can say he's my male version or doble, minsan lang yan bumili ng gamit pero pag bumili nakakapagod kasama.

When its time to go home, we drop by to Family Lounge to pee.

The family lounge (on my next post)

Since Tami wants to eat, we drop by to Jollibee for our merienda.

Tami while eating her burger..

Snow white eating Tami's spaghetti. Ayaw ni Tami eh!

After eating merienda, we headed home kasi sobrang pagod na ko.

With nothing to do in our house, i took some pictures for my blog while watching TV. And here's what we bought in ATC. Na-dissapoint lang naman ako ng konti kasi i was expecting at least 50% off sa footwears from the sale pero wala talaga eh. Pero last friday na nagpunta ko, nakabili pa ko ng Polo blouse at 50% off, at least kahit papano meron. hehe

My new Slippers. 30% off from the price.

Snow white's new shirts

Regatta - Regular Price
Levi's shirt - 20% off from the Regular price...

Levi's eco bag, nice no?

And here hubby's shoes na talaga naman ka-bwisit-bwisit sa tagal makapili. At take note, its the last outlet na pinuntahan namin and since na-feel na nyang badtrip na ko, wala na syang choice kundi piliin yung pinakamaganda sa Converse outlet.

This is what he got: Jack Parcell by Converse and its less than 10% only from the price because its new arrival.

Hay gastos talaga pag Sale, sumabay pa sa May :(

Kid's Day

Today is holiday for us because it is Memorial day in the US.

If we parents has our own day. Then we parents give our child their day and we make it a point to give them at least our weekend which is our only available from our work. Last Saturday, we didn't go to laguna for my cousin Marvil's celebration (he passed the Civil Engineer Licensure Exam) because it was raining so hard and i have a scheduled therapy.

Since we dont wanna stuck in our house, we went to Starmall because hubby wants his PSP to be fixed. Even it is raining, we make sure to give our kid her day.

Tami and hubby's PSP

Since hubby's PSP is already damaged, basag ang screen and Tami's PSP recently broke, nasira ang analog. Hubby decided to transfer tami's lcd to his psp so he can bring it in the office and play with his staff. Tami's now badtrip because she cant play with her PSP anymore while hubby is glad that he can play tekken again. I requested to add bejeweled2 game so i can play during my free time.

While hubby is in the PSP area, Tami and i went to Funhouse (i dont recall its name, its like Tom's World). He ask for some money to hubby then bought P50.00 worth of token.

Get free 2 token when you buy 10 pcs.

What i dont like here in this part of Starmall is it so hot, no aircon provided in this area so imagine the kids playing in this area, partida naulan pa that time pero ang init pa rin.

Here are some of Tami's pics. I used my so-low-end fone kaya malabo yung pics. Dont worry because this week i will have my new Samsung Corby courtesy of Sun Cellular (yun oh!)

Tami's first ride

Naulan na Japorms pa rin. Actually this is the first time she uses her Old navy sweatshirt given by his Uncle BJ 2 yrs ago kaya buti na lang umulan at buti na lang maluwag pa ng konti sa kanya yung damit.

Mother and daughter game

"Practice muna Papa" - Tami

Practice din..

Father and daughter Game

Who's going to bet?

Last game

When they get tired and after consuming all the token, we went to KFC for our merienda.

Our merienda

While eating our food, there's a commotion on the other side of KFC, and the police is roaming around and he's saying something on every guests per table. I was wondering that time of what is happening until the police came to our table. He advises us to look for our things because what happened in the other side is the lady's bag was stolen inside the KFC store. So mommies out there, when eating in a restaurant or in a fast food chain, be attentive and take care of your belongings, the lady was crying because according to her, the contents of her bag was really important like her passport, jewelries etc.

There's really no safe place now so take extra care when outside. After eating the meal, we went home already

How's your weekend guys?

May - Expensive Month

I realized that the Month of May was really expensive for a parents like us. Aside from the monthly budget that we have (see our budget here.) now comes the enrollment, the things needed for Tami's school at sumabay pa ang new policy sa office. Gastos diba?

Last friday, i went to the bank around lunch to get money and enrolled Tami in her school. By the way, Tami's on Kinder 1 na. Aside from the school tuition fee with increase to almost 10%, Tami also needs books and notebooks that we will get on the school's bookstore because it has their own logo. Others like crayons, pads etc are the only things that you can buy in the bookstore outside the school. Gastos dba?

Some of her textbooks and notebooks. Workbooks will be given on the first week of school. Classes will start on June 7, 2011 and were still not buying Tami's school needs. Hubby said to do it next week.

After going to school for Tami's enrollment, i went to ATC to buy some office clothes but ended up with casual and rubber shoes!

Here's what i bought:

1 shirt from Arnold Palmer
3 Polo Blouse from Bossini (2 Long and 1 short sleeves)
1 Polo Blouse from Giordano

Short from Giordano Khakis

Puma Rubber shoes

Actually, i dont have plan of buying Rubber shoes but when i saw this style and the color, super like ko sya kaya ayan binili ko. Now im thinking of where to wear this rubber shoes.

Ang gastos talaga ng month na to! Wait till you see hubby's purchase..

Wasted VL on a Friday

Last friday was my scheduled checkup with my Rehab doctor and at the same time therapy in Healthway ATC. The sad thing is my Rehab doctor called the clinic that she will not report to work on that day, the most important agenda of my VL was the check up because i need to ask for a Medical Certificate because it was needed in the office for documentation.

Since its too early to go for therapy and with nothing to do, i surf the net and read my favorite site PEP and other shopping online site. I was inspired also by my officemate who organize her things, its one of my "to do list" but i get lazy of doing it. After reading my officemate's blog, i decided to do it also because i really need to finish segregating my clothes to office/casual/everyday clothes. Come June we will be wearing office outfit again (semi-formal) so i need to arrange my closet again.

After 2 hrs of doing it, here is the result (take note, other clothes was still in my inlaws house in hubby's room so im still maximizing the space for the others or for the new ones)

The built-in cabinet from the apartment:
The upper part

Some of the my clothes and our jeans.

The lower part with my pambahay

This space is for our house clothes (pambahay), hubby and i are sharing this space because we dont have extra cabinets to put all these.

Still in lower part but with hubby's house clothes..

The cabinet that we bought:

This is the cabinet that we bought when we transferred here in our apartment. As you can see on the left side, im using the 1st and second level for our personal things. This cabinet has locks on the door so our important things like jewelry, documents etc are here. The 3rd and the bottom part of the left side is for my casual clothes like tshirts and polo shirts, i will be using this very seldom now because of the new policy in the office.

On the right part you will see two piles of clothes, on the left are hubby's clothes which he uses in the office or in any occasion, on the right part is my polo shirts and some of my blouses.

Currently, i have:

Casual clothes like tshirt, blouses : 68 pcs.
Polo shirts : 27 pcs
Office Polo Blouse :  25 pcs
Jeans : 13
Slacks : 6

With all these, now i know which type of clothes i need to suffice because in a few days time, im wearing again a semi-formal in our office.

Next to-do-list is the segregating of our footwears. **Calling Ayen** I need shoe bags like yours...
