Capdase for Blackberry..

Me and my friend who also happens to be my cousin met each other yesterday. She came from Singapore for a 1 week vacation because she has something important to do here like her life insurance in AXA Life, her bank errands etc. Since she's in town for a week we decided to meet. She's staying in their house in Laguna and yesterday was our set date.

I went to Centennial airport because Ate Nene went back to Auzi after her 2 months vacation here. After Ate Nene checks-in, me and Jen went to MOA for a stroll, dinner and chit-chat again as if we never see each other for a decade. hehe. Our first thing to do is we went to Cellphone shops in 2nd floor to buy a jelly case for my Blackberry and also the Screen Protector.

 Capdase Jelly Case photo source

The jelly case that i bought. I already used it after purchasing the item thats why i dont have photo of the packaging. I just get the image from Capdase site.

Capdase Screen Protector

I also bought screen protecter for my BB screen to make it a scratch-free fone. But the not-so-good thing here is i have to put it myself because we dont have time to wait anymore for them to put it so i decided to do it at home.

And here's the actual item on my BB:

I like the Jelly case from Capdase. But with the screen protector, im failed putting it. This should be done by the experts. Look at the screen on my BB, the screen protector has now scratches because i tried to flatten it using my nails. Mali pala!

And for some reasons, nag-bubble na din sya. I thought mali ang paglagay ko and i need to detached it again from the screen but i was wrong. In the end, its not that nice. There are lots of bubbles in the screen.

I wasted my money for this. Will buy again next payday and i will find a store that offers putting the Screen protector on my phone.

I need to go now because my eyes is now itchy because of mild sore-eyes. hehe. Will blog our dinner later.

Payless ShoeSource @ SM Southmall.

After our appointment with the dentist, Janz and her daughter and Me together with Tami roam around the ground floor. I found out that SM Southmall has Payless ShoeSource now and it was recently opened. I hurriedly went inside to check.

store facade

According to Wikipedia:

Payless ShoeSource is a discount footwear retailer that cousins Shaol and Louis Pozez founded in Topeka, Kansas in 1956. In 1961, it became a public company as the Volume Shoe Corporation which merged with the May Department Stores Company in 1979. In the 1980s, Payless was widely known in the U.S. for its Pro Wings line of discount sneakers, which often had Velcro straps instead of laces. In 1996, Payless ShoeSource became an independent publicly held company. In 2004, Payless Shoe Source announced to exit the Parade chain and it will close 100 Payless Shoe outlets. On August 17, 2007, the company acquired the Stride Rite Corporation and changed its name to Collective Brands, Inc..

And now Payless ShoeSource invades Manila... Shoe lovers who's looking for an affordable price with cute designs, for sure you will love it here. What i like with the store is you dont need to wait for your size because all the items are arranged by size so if youre like size 9 like me, you will go to the rack with size 9 and choose design from your left and right rack.

And i want this:

As much as i want to buy this. I controlled myself because we already have big expenses this month and i dont wanna go over budget this month. I guess Payless shoesource will wait for me till my next payday on July 12. And i will get this for sure.

Pick # 1.

Pick # 2

That's what i want and will be going back there to purchase that 2 flats. Nice no? No need to go do Divisoria to buy flats because SM Southmall has Payless ShoeSource now.

After going to Payless, we decided to have lunch to our favorite and comfort food KFC. Sarah (Janz daughter) wants KFC and if you were to ask Tami, she wants Pizza but we have to go with them because its our mother-daughter date, and i misses KFC too that time.

Mother-daughter tandem (taken by Tami's yaya)

Me and tami on the left while Janssen and Sarah on the right.

Our order:

KFC Bucket Meal
2 extra rice
2 Krushers in Strawberry for the 2 kids.

Everytime we go malling, Janz and i always share when it comes to food expenses. So imagine, that lunch costs me less than P500.00. Janz next time ulit ha...

Dental Focus @ SM Southmall

Last Sunday was our appointment with our dentist in Dental Focus in SM Southmall. Hubby's cousin (Janz) together with her daughter also went there. Its tami's second time now for check-up and cleaning of her teeth. Since its sunday, we leave the house early because we anticipated that there are lots of patients that will go there and also because of the traffic from our home to SM Southmall because of the Maynilad Works around the highway.

We arrived in SM Southmall at exactly 9:45am, too early for the opening so we just waited outside and making fun with Tami.

While waiting outside..

And we're number 1 on the list for appointment. No need to wait..

Dental Focus

What i like here in Dental Focus is that the ambiance of the place is very cozy. The place is spacious and has comfortable sofa. Very bright place that enticed passersby and possible clients.

Tami and her new Yaya..

There are some reading materials that will keep you busy while waiting. As you can see in this picture, Tami is now wearing flip flops. When we were outside, she told me that her shoes is too big for her and she's not comfortable walking with it so we had to buy flip flops in the department store. Very choosy pa with the design, we bought that Barbie flipflop at P199.00. Maganda naman with the shiny strap.

I noticed with Tami's attitude regarding things, that blue flipflop was her choice. I showed here lots of design but she stick with it. I guess the attitude of having what she wants, she will definitely get it regardless of the price. A very "ME" attitude...

The branch in Southmall has 5 glass cubicle so if you have companion whose also has an appointment, they can do it at the same time. Even if your outside waiting for your turn, you can see whats inside of the clinic.

Our family has been with Dental Focus for quite some time now. I love it here because they have the most up-to-date facilities when it comes to dental things.

Tami while the dentist checking up his teeth.

On the front of this cubicle there is a big board with photos of their clients and majority of them are artists so its one of the proof that they have good service and very accomodating dentists.

While cleaning her teeth and putting prophylaxis.

She was not afraid of the dentist and she follows what he says. My baby girl is very brave. Very good Tam!

If youre waiting for your kid, you can sit in this comfortable sofa behind the cubicle.

I highly recommend Dental Focus for your dental needs. The dentist also gave Tami a Dorco toothbrush for kids. I guess all the kids going there for an appointment will receive Dorco toothbrush for Kids in Dora design for girls. I dont know what is the design for the boys.

Prescription Glasses from Ideal Vision.... again!

When i woke up last Saturday from an afternoon nap, i found out that someone accidentally stepped on my glasses and the frame got dislocated. I hurriedly went to Ideal Vision in SM Southmall to get it fix. However, according to the opthalmologist, even if the frame gets fixed they still dont know if i will become comfortable wearing it again because it might broke from the tip where the glasses is connected. Another problem is if i leave my glasses to the shop, i need to wait for another week before i can wear it again because they need to bring it on their repair shop.

With that situation i decided to get a new glasses instead of waiting for another week because i cant work without my glasses. Did you know that i tried contact lenses? Yes i tried once but with my sensitive eyes, it gets red upon putting my contact lenses and its really itchy. After 2 days, i go back to glasses.

Anyway, Ideal Vision has become my fave shop since i wear prescription glasses. There are some reasons why i love Ideal Vision. First. there are lots of brands and designs to choose and Second is they accept 3 months installment in 0% interest. Isn't it great?

After choosing frame, the opthalmologist gets my grade. Grabe! kaya pala nasakit yung mata ko kasi my grade increased again. Kala ko magkakaron ako ng sore eyes, mali pala.

Right Eye : From 200 to 250
Left Eye : From 350 to 375
Astigmatism : 50

After getting my grade and when its about time to pay the cashier gave me a P50 GC from Jollibee, free daw... hehe. Anyway, its still good to have it, at least kahit papano may free meal.

Maybe i got it after using my BDO credit card..

Buying prescription glasses takes at least an hour before you received it so while waiting i decided to use the free GC on Jollibee across the Ideal Vision.

My favorite Jolly Hotdog meal. I only add P30++ to get the meal.

And here's my new prescription glasses:

Its very similar to my MNG glasses.

COSTING:

Brand: BASS PhP1,900 from 3,250 (sale)
(i dont know if this is related to the BASS footwear pero parang ang layo eh... Eyes to foot. Sa tingin mo? hehe
Lens: Multi-coated P800 kasi daw mataas ang grade ko.
(badly needs for the computer radiation)
Add-on: Thin glasses P2,400

Total PhP 5,100 / 3mos = PhP 1,700

Keribels na no?

Shoes for the Rain

When its time to leave the house for the market, the rain pours so hard that i hesitated to go outside because i dont wanna go wet all over so i stayed a little, go online while waiting for the rain to subside. And now im blogging!

With the massive rain that's been going on now, I always get home close to dark and it has been raining like crazy that even some streets here in the metro get flooded. Now im thinking of Rainboots, i know rainboots are known to some part of the world only like US, Canada where the snow becomes thicker thats why its advisable for them to wear boots.

I have never had rain boots before maybe because its not that good wearing boots in a tropical country, right? But i rather wear boots than completely soak my shoes in the street when raining. With that, i check rainboots online and see if i can afford to have one now. As in now! This weekend maybe? haha *joke*

I found this Michael Kors online but definitely its not within my budget now and you cant buy it here in the Philippines.

MICHAEL KORS Croco Rainboots $89 (source)

Very nice no? Fab find.

A high quality rainboot is a smart investment that will last you for years! This style is especially fashionable in addition to being extremely sturdy. Sure to keep you dry thanks to its cozy lining and adjustable tightening buckle, this croc-embossed boot is a stunner in both vanilla and black.

But wait there's more! I found Plueys online and the good news is you can buy it here in the Philippines.

Plueys and Skimmers

Plueys is manufactured in Hong Kong but is distributed mainly in the United States; Manila is its biggest Asian market. Filipinos are really into shopping no? Being the biggest Asian market of Plueys is really bigtime. Rainboots are really in now. Fashion during rainy season :)

These are the Rain Boots that I found from the Plueys Collection so definitely these are my absolute favorite of all!

Mustard Glossy Welly with Buckle PhP 4,200

Rain Skimmer is  the brand of Bright Cloud Inc. Rain Skimmers are waterproof ballet flats made of rubber. They are perfect for light rain showers and for avoiding mini puddles when strolling after the rain.

And i want these:

Audrey PhP 1,450

Channel your inner sophisticate with Audrey Rain Skimmers, comfy ballet flats in black with playful white dots—a modern take on a fashion icon. Even Ms. Hepburn would approve!

Kelly PhP 1,450

There is only love for your batted eyelash, the rosy blush of your cheeks, and the carefree dip-in-the-air of your foot—subtly sheathed in pretty Kelly Rain Skimmers, of course. These clover rain skimmers match your girly, flirty mood with its soft green hue: you’re instantly the apple of everyone’s eyes!

Waterproof ballet flats in black and olive, lined with black. These Rain Skimmers feature a lightweight matte printed rubber upper withfull cotton lining. Every purchase of Rain Skimmers comes with a free pair of heel protectors for long-wear comfort!

Hay i want to have those but i dont have budget for that now. The construction of our house will start in a few weeks and i cant shell out extra money because we really need to save for the interiors of our house. Really Sad. For now, ill just use my Crocs as my shoes for the rain.

Plueys shoes are now available in Rockwell or you can shop here. Oh by the way. Bright Cloud Inc is the distributor of Plueys here.

Krispy Kreme - Tami's Fave!

Last wednesday, my baby requested for a doughnut so before i headed home i dropped by in MOA just to buy Krispy Kreme. At first i was hesitated to go because it was raining but i had no choice because it is the request of our boss. hehe

When i arrived home, my baby is excited to eat her doughnut, they waited because i informed her yaya to wait for me because i bought them doughnut.

My sick baby with her request..

I bought 2 dozens of Krispy Kreme! Sinful sweets :(

The selection of doughnuts in the store was extensive. I immediately noticed the Toblerone and other Hershey's donuts that makes more Krispy Kreme very sinful to those on diets! haha. There were also so many flavors, from chocolate flavors to cheesecake to the traditional and very common glazed doughnuts.

Aarrrgghhh... the sinful donuts.... sira na naman diet ko! I chose my favorite flavors to be put in one box. With these 6 donuts, i need to run from Manila to Antipolo just to burn those calories! hehe

The first dozen...

What i like about krispy kreme is that they are light and fluffy and its like melt-in-your-mouth. Oh so good! But beware to those who have diabetes because it can kill you! haha

And as of now, our stock in our fridge is now down to 3 pcs. See? that's how good the krispy kremes are considering we are only 5 in the house (me and hubby, tami and the 2 househelps). And the househelps cant believe that its so good because its their first time to eat krispy kreme.

Cant wait to eat my last New York cheesecake doughnut!

BB tutor at Reyes Barbecue..

I didnt go to work today because i have to bring my darling baby to her pedia. Good thing her fever subside so there's nothing to worry anymore, we just have to wait for the lab results. Let's just pray na tama ang hinala na mild UTI lang.

Anyway, after going to the doctor and while hubby is asleep, me and my cousin EJ decided to have a late lunch in Reyes Barbecue in SM Center and i was in there until 3pm.

With my new fone, im still on the learning process and i need tutor for that. I called my cousin EJ to teach mo how to use it and he also downloaded the applications. I know that with the Blackberry in hand, it will change some of my rakets and will be more updated with all the social networking sites. And i think its really cool. I just need to start learning to use it.

cousin EJ

He started to teach me the BB world while waiting for our food.

Our quick lunch consists of the famous Barbecue of Reyes Barbecue.

Reyes Barbecue serves good food in affordable price. Actually its not my first here. I used to eat in this food chain in SM Southmall with hubby.

We also like their Sauce that even brought for our home.

How about you? Do you like the BBQ in Reyes Barbecue?

Pure Beauty Products at Watsons..

Last monday, my friend and i decided to meet at Jollibee in The Fort across St. Luke's hospital (that's walking distance to our office). When our lunch time came, me and some of my teammates went to Jollibee for our lunch, i also met there with my friend whose also my previous officemate.

There we have a little chit-chat about our lives and because she's now residing in Pateros with her family, we rarely see each other now unlike before when she's still living in Las Pinas, its like i was in their house almost every weekend. Oh i miss those times!

Anyway, after my lunch and when its about time to leave Jollibee, she handed me loots because according to her, her sister is working in Watsons and they always have free products. Since she's not fond of using hair treatment and she knows that im maarte, she thought of giving me some. Thanks Cez!

My new BB..

I posted here about my new Blackberry courtesy of my hubby.

Few months ago, i started thinking of using Blackberry phone because most of my relatives and friends are using it and it will be more beneficial (thinking of BBM) to us because we are miles away. If call and text abroad are not expensive, i wouldnt want to own one but my cellphone bill goes up to a thousand bucks and most of my allowances goes there.

BBM

I even shamelessly posted in FB that i want to own one and to cut the long story short, my spoiler hubby decided to get me one. And now i am happy to get what i have lusting over (aside from him) *wink*

My new BB in pink color...

I guess Im just lucky that i have husband who knows what i want.. hehe

Thanks Bi..

Bedweather...

Its been raining the past few days and this is the kind of weather you would want to stay in bed and doze off to Dreamland or cuddle with someone you love.. woot! woot!... And im one of them.. haha.. staying in bed with the hubby right now is just amazing...

Hay.. im loving the bedweather.. Will be back after lunch to blog... Pagod pa eh... *wink*

Hubby's Day!

Happy Father's Day to all Daddies out there especially to Papa (my father), Papa Caloy, and to the best hubby (you-know-who) in the world. If you didn't know hubby, aside from being handsome *wink*, he's also the super PDA guy that makes him so sweet, loyal and the most important is our spoiler.. hehe..

How did you celebrate father's day?

My family didn't go out today because i wanna sleep the whole day and rest because i was really tired this past few days. Aside from my reason, the weather is not that good and its not safe to go outside because of the continuous pour of rain. So we stayed in our home and celebrate the simplest way.

I am today's cook. I know im not that good in cooking but i do have specialty. hehe. And would you believe that its always the request of hubby every weekend? Ha! Master na Master ko na to... What is it?

Lechon Kawali

Yes, its my specialty... hehe.. Its our menu on our lunch together with Sopas and Coke.

The simple celebration doesn't end on lunch. Because on our merienda, i cooked Tuna Pasta. The simple recipe i learned from a friend and buti naman hindi palpak...

My presentation..

Tuna pasta consists of Century Tuna, Mushrooms, Cheese and the Penne Pasta. I am happy that what i cooked today is perfect for their taste buds. No violent reactions from hubby and my daughter as well as the 2 house helper. Feeling ko tuloy magaling na ko magluto. Kering-keri na!

Look what Tami made for the hubby. She gave it last night and hubby told me that Tami woke him up just to give this simple card. Actually they created this in their school for the father's day.

The front of the card..

As you may noticed, the red thingy looks like fish because of the shape and sa totoo lang nagtataka ako from last night kung bakit yun ang design nya and while im rotating the photo in paint a while ago, dun ko lang na-realize na tie pala ang design nung card.. Sorry naman!

The note inside the card..

I asked tami about the drawing, she said its her Papa and her holding hands like what they used to do when we are in the mall. She told me that she gave it to her Papa and ni-hug daw sya ng Papa nya and said Thank you. Na-touch naman aketch...

The sweet, loyal, caring and spoiler hubby in the world...

Happy Father's day Bi.. I love you more than Bags! hehe

What about you? Any stories to share this father's day?

Saturday Movie Marathon..

Eversince we discovered Movie25.com, it became a movie bonding for me and the hubby every saturday night till mid-morning. We always watched 3 to 4 movies in one night and yesterday was our movie marathon again. Movie25.com offers new and old movies so no need to watch in the cinemas anymore.

Here's what we watched last night.

Something Borrowed

Friendships are tested and secrets come to the surface when terminally single Rachel falls for Dex, her best friend Darcy's fiancé.

I find the movie very common to couples nowadays. Bestfriends falling for the same guy, engaged to be married cheating on the other partner etc. But still i like this movie. I give it 3 stars.

Super 8

In the summer of 1979, a group of friends in a small Ohio town witness a catastrophic train crash while making a super 8 movie and soon suspect that it was not an accident. Shortly after, unusual disappearances and inexplicable events begin to take place in town, and the local sheriff's deputy tries to uncover the truth -- something more terrifying than any of them could have imagined.

Super 8 - the super corny movie. That's according to hubby.

No Strings Attached

Emma and Adam are life-long friends who almost ruin everything by having sex one morning. In order to protect their friendship, they make a pact to keep their relationship strictly "no strings attached." "No strings" means no jealousy, no expectations, no fighting, no flowers, no baby voices. It means they can do whatever they want, whenever they want, in whatever public place they want, as long as they don't fall in love. The question becomes -- who's going to fall first? And can their friendship survive?

5 stars!

Thanks to Movie25.com for free movies... Till next weekend.

Have you tried watching movie in Movie25.com?

Solar Thingy...

Sorry for not updating my blog. I was so tired everyday and always came home late, i admit that its because of my work. Sometimes I can't help but wish that Im just a plain housewife, taking care of the kids and the hubby. Doing some rakets and just sit in the computer surfing my favorite online shopping sites.. Ain't life simple that way? :)

But i need to work for our future that's why im still here, good thing i enjoyed working in our company because i have friends in the office, i can travel wherever i want, i can buy what i want, eating anywhere, in short hindi pa ko pwedeng mag-resign! PAK!

Hay... I just wish everything will turn out right in the end. Anyway, i just arrived from work  (7.30pm) Yup 7.30pm na! Almost 11hrs working for almost 2 weeks na because of the deadline of our project and now im sitting here in front of the computer checking my emails. I just wanna share what i saw on my cousin's FB.

The caption below the picture says: "my new toy in the car :) a solar powered plant which continuously flaps until light source is stopped. excited tuloy ako lagi magdrive pag maaraw! :))"

It was my cousin Kit's car and her sister Kat wants it too in her car. Natatawa ako because they find that solar thingy cute and tuwang-tuwa sila that even her friends liked it. Kung alam lang nila! Nagkalat ang ganyan sa baclaran and divisoria that even street vendors in Coastal Road area are selling that solar plant. hehe

Its so funny that people here like to have goods from the US while them likes to have goods from here especially those that you can buy in Divisoria. By the way, before i end this post, i wanna congratulate my cousin Biboy for being 6th honor in his graduation in the US. Time flies so fast and he's now entering college :)

I feel so damn sleepy na... I need to go na **hikab**. Good night...

Father's Day Gift Ideas

Its' Dad's day once again on June 19, 2011.

Let's admit that its so hard to find presents to a guy or most specially to our Dads because we women knows more about the trend than men. Come June 19 (Sunday), it will be Father's day again and we need to start looking for a perfect gift to our Dad. Its also a simple way of saying Thank You to them for all the hardworks and love they gave to us.

Since im online now and arrive home early, i am thinking of Father's day gift ideas for my father and also for my hubby. Among the top gift to our Dad and hubby would be tools whether its for the house or the car. A complete set of tools would be a nice token for a father who loves to work around the house.

Aside from the tools, gift will always depend on the characteristics of our Dad and to our hubby and with that, i come up of the following that are perfect for them.

PERFUME - for me its the safest gift i can give to Papa and hubby. Bvlgari is one of hubby's favorite scent.

Bvlgari perfume for Men PhP4,450
Available at Myregalo.com

TW STEEL WATCH - If you have a budget, you can give them a brand new watch or any luxury items, although it might be a little bit expensive then you may ask the help of your siblings to get that perfect gift.

TW Steel Watch

I think the price of TW Steel range from PhP18,000 above.

COSMETICS - I received this on my email and i wanna share it to you. This will be perfect for a little budget conscious.

Anthony Logistics Set for Men

Or if you're like me whose on a tight budget now because of saving up for the upcoming house expenses, The simple "I LOVE YOU DAD" will mean a lot to them.. Just always remember it is the thought that counts, your mere presence on that day is already a gift.

Kaya nga eto na lang gagawin ko kasi wala akong budget ngaun! haha

Advance Happy Father's day Papa and also to my hubby...
