After looking at my friends photos in her multiply account, i decided to have a trip at bohol because of its tourist attraction and places to visit and i also want to go to panglao. After a few more searches online, its gives me an idea of what to do and where to go in bohol. I contacted my cousin and aunt if they want to join us. Then the trip was planned and booked 1 month b4 the target flight.
I've been busy with my job these days that i forgot to blog our trip. So let me just pick the highlights or some infos about our Bohol trip last August 8-10 with hubby, cousins and my aunt and niece. tami was not able to make it because she's sick that time.
Upon reaching the chocolate hills in Carmen, you have to pay P50 for an entrance fee and 15.00 for the parking, there is an overlooking deck available for viewing and taking some pictures, however, before reaching the viewing deck, you have to be prepared for the hundred steps to reach the top.
After lunch, we go back to hotel and while waiting for the service that will bring us back to the airport, we take some pictures around the hotel.
Going back to Manila...

Janssen's cousin Chona is the one who picked us at the airport. She offer to help us with our itinerary and she also invited us to Panglao. Chona's husband is an ex-mayor of one of the municipalities of Bohol.
Before heading to Panglao, Chona and her husband bring us to their hometown which is Loon and among the sites that we visit is one of the oldest church (1st stop) in Bohol and Punta Cruz watch tower. It so amazing that every place in Bohol has an old church and all the stories behind each site was explained to us by Chona's husband.

at Punta Cruz watch tower (2nd stop) Entrance Fee - P10.00
We had our lunch at BQ Mall, the first mall in Bohol and they treat us on one of the resto that caters Bohol different food or delicacies.
After having lunch, we're heading to Panglao and we drop-by at Bohol Bee Farm.
Since the owner of the Bohol Bee Farm knows the ex-mayor, we didn't pay for the entrance and farm tour. Good thing they're with us..hehe
hubby, me and kuya bing
The Buzz ice cream which is located inside the Bohol Bee Farm, the flavors of the ice cream is yummy and they put it in cab-cab cone. They also have a branch in Island City Mall. It is a must-try when you go there. Price of the ice cream is P60 per cone with 3 scoops of different flavored ice cream.
At last, we reach Bohol Beach Club in Panglao. I think, bbc has the longest shoreline among all beaches. This time, the ex-mayor is not with us anymore because he has an appointment but he promised that he will join us on dinner.

at bbc's cottage at the shoreline, the view is amazing with it's fine white sand like boracay and palawan. You will notice that we're not enjoying the water, it's because hubby don't want to swim because he don't want to have sunburn, the weather in bohol is so hot while here in manila have heavy rains.
foreigners surely enjoy the water and collecting some shells and even starfish, i don't know what are they going to do with it and i even ask them if i can took a picture with it.
kuya bing, cj and me.. just taking picture around bbc while waiting for the dinner... i think bbc is accepting day tour from 8am to 5pm only.
bbc's buffet for dinner... they have 3 buffet area and this one is along the shoreline...
dinner time along Panglao beach with Chona's family and we also meet panglao's ex-mayor and whose also the owner of dumaluan beach resort (dumaluan is beside bbc), the owner of dumaluan allowed us to enter the beach resort to check their amenities and took some pictures so if we plan to go back in panglao, we may choose to stay with dumaluan.
After eating dinner, we went to our room and sleep so we have enough energy for the next day countryside tour.

our bed
we choose the deluxe room because we want spacious room and this room has a veranda overlooking outside the hotel.

The next day is our countryside tour, we rent a van that we can use for the tour. Van rentals in bohol ranges from P4,000 up regardless of how many you are.
our first stop is the blood compact
the famous baclayon church, this church is so old but inside this church the structure is amazing...
After is the Loboc river but we didn't want to dine at their floating resto due to some safety issues and the river is not that clear so we headed to the tarsier and it's also around loboc area.
This little creature is already endangered species that's why tourists are not allowed to touch them and they also make sure that cameras doesn't have flash when taking picture with the tarsier because they said that tarsiers are suicidal...
Our next stop is the home of the largest Phyton named Prony.
Next is the famous Chocolate hills and on your way to Carmen, you will pass by the man-made forest in Bilar. This forest is made up of planted mahogany by the boholanos and im not sure why they consider it as a local tourist attraction though it has a nice view.

me and hubby at the viewing deck... the view is indeed a majestic creature of nature.
After the chocolate hills, Sagbayan Peak is our next destination. I think this place is ideal for kids because there is water park and also there are life-size character statue like disney's mickey mouse, daffy duck, castle etc. Also, adults will also enjoy here because of the ambiance and it is situated on top of hill.
On our last day, after packing our things we decided to shop for bohol delicacies so we headed to Island city mall, we bought lots of peanut kisses, peanut kringles, danggit for our pasalubong. After buying, we look for the Prawn Farm because they say its famous for their seafood in bohol. We had our lunch there.
At prawn farm restaurant, we ordered different kinds of seafood like pusit, shrimp, tuna belly, crab rice and this seafood platter which consist of kebab, scallops, prawn, crab etc..
seafood platter, this will be cooked beside your table...
After lunch, we go back to hotel and while waiting for the service that will bring us back to the airport, we take some pictures around the hotel.
Going back to Manila...
at the plane before take-off...
i really enjoy this trip... Our expense is not that high because our first day is almost free, some of our food are paid by my aunt but with the van rental and accomodation, we have to pay it ourselves. With the beach, panglao is nice but i still love the waters in palawan
