Baguio's Famous Pasalubong

One of the must-have when you go to a place is to buy pasalubong or try its delicacies. Baguio has many things to offer and the famous of all is the Strawberry and Fresh Vegetables...Whenever i go to Baguio, i never failed to buy strawberries and veggies and some delicacies like:

Good Shepherd's Ube Jam

Good shepherd's Ube Jam is the best and of all the Ube Jam in Baguio, it is the only jam that tastes good.. Its ready to eat and its so yummy.. You can go to Good Shepherd's place or you can buy this Ube Jam at any stalls in market or pasalubong center.

Good Shepherd's Strawberry Jam

I also like the strawberry jam in Good shepherd because it has lots of preserved strawberries, its a bit expensive nga lang if you bought this at Good Shepherd. Price is P230.00.

PEANUT BRITTLE

Of all the Peanut brittle in baguio, i like Romana Peanut Brittle the most.. Price is P135.00

LENGUA DE GATO

Lengua de gato is also famous for pasalubong, you can buy it at 4 pcs for P100.00... You can choose any brand of Lengua, there are also some flavors like pandan, ube etc.. but the plain lengua is still the best!

There you have it... If you're in Baguio for a vacation or some business trip, dont forget to buy some pasalubong and try the best..

Busy street of Session Rd

We set our clock at 4am so we can prepare for the Float parade. We had our breakfast then headed to town. It is so cold outside..

5:45am

waiting for the others..

All set for the town..

One of the roads downtown, all are close in preparation for the parade. I took this pic at 6am when we are heading at Session road..

Around 7am

with my relatives..

At exactly 8am, the parade starts to show their float..

Ill show all the floats on my next post because it has too many...

This was taken around 10.30am, the parade has ended and look at the people along the Session Rd. No wonder Panagbenga Festival of Baguio is one of the must-see festivals here in the Philippines.

We at the busy street of Session Rd after the parade..

Thinking of where we chow down for our lunch...

We ate at Good Taste Restaurant. For all the years that ive been to Baguio, this is the first time that ive tried Good Taste. I dont know the exact location but you must try eating there. For sure, all the locals in Baguio know the restaurant. They serve Chinese cuisine and some Filipino food. The food is so good and the servings for each are good for 3 to 4 persons.

Next post is the float parade..
