I Need it!

Remember my post regarding Olay from Middle East?

My bottle of Olay is nearly empty so i need to look on where to buy this:

I was so happy when my friend from college BBM me that she is scheduled to go home this coming Septermber. She works in Middle East by the way. I have to send the picture so she can buy me this Olay and will pay it here na lang. Now i dont have problem with my Olay.

Product upclose.

I asked her the Day and Night Moisturizer cream. I swear that this particular product from Olay that can be bought in Middle East is so good to the skin.

Have you tried it?

My problem is now solved! Thanks Kaye.

Revisiting Classic Savory

Last Sunday i was so lazy to cook. Since we're only two that time because Tami and the yayabels were in my inlaws house, we decided to eat outside and use the free coupon (Savory) from BDO.

Savory has become one of our fave resto because of the famous chicken, if hubby craves for chicken then Savory was always the choice. Good thing Savory has branch here in SM Center which is across our village.

Borrowing my BB because he wants to go online in FB.

I wasnt hungry that time because im still full from my home made lumpiang togue and i limit my dinner to light meals thats why i didnt order rice.

Here's what we had:

Four seasons tropical drink for hubby and Savory Iced Tea for me.

Hubby ordered the Combo C1 that consists of quarter chicken, turon and spare ribs. He also add extra rice.

The free fish fillet in Tausi sauce

I love the fish but im a little bit dissapointed kasi ang konti lang nung fish, 3 pcs lang and 2 pcs tofu. Ganun ba pag free? konti lang ang laman? hehe

Pandan Salad

I tried this dessert, not too sweet and not too good either. Consists of milk, Pandan jelly and tapioca.

That was our simple dinner, maybe we'll try other dishes when we dine again in Savory. I still have my other coupon, do you want it? I can give it to those who plan of dining in Savory.

Wanna go Asian Cruise?

Wanna go Asian Cruise?

Yesterday, my cousin bbm (blackberry messenger) me and asked if i wanna go cruising because it was supposed to be Kuya Bing and the couple (Ate Dalyn and Kuya Jovy) but unfortunately Ate Dalyn cant go because of something (secret muna). They already paid all the cruise ticket including all the tours when landed to different Asian Countries so there's no need to worry, all im going to pay was the airfare to Singapore. I told hubby about it but he dont want to go now kasi nga tipid mode kami because the construction of our house is now on-going. Kung next year sana but the travel date is on September 7, 2011 na and its 1 week yata.

Now that im not going, they decided to sell the Cruise (2 pax) and heres the deal:

They sell the cruise for only $388.00 (SG Dollar), thats only around PhP 12,000 in pesos each. Thats how cheap it is, para lang kahit papano may mabalik na amount kina Ate Dalyn. Its so cheap na considering Asian Cruise will cost around PhP 50,000 each.

If you're planning to buy the 2 cruise ticket, you will only buy your airfare to Singapore for 1 week, pay the Cruise tax which is around $200.00 per head (cruise tax and another tax).. and the cruise ticket to my cousin. Thats a big discount already! You save more than PhP 50,000.

Interested? You can email me by filling up the Mail Me button on the upper right of my blog. GOW!

On Hubby's 30th birthday...

From all the post about hubby here in my blog, it is safe to assume that he is such a gadget fan. He's never contented of what gadget he has, buti na lang hindi nya type ang iPad. hehe. I know he can afford to buy things that he want because he has a good-paying job but I wanna give him something that he fancies as a token of appreciation for being a very good and loving husband.

Come October, we will be celebrating 2 occasions, our wedding anniversary on the 23rd and his 30th birthday on the 24th. He told me that he want to celebrate his birthday and invite all of his friends and officemate. I already planned something for our wedding anniversary and since he already set a birthday celebration for his birthday, wala na kong magagawa dun.

Now, im thinking of what to give him. I know matagal pa but knowing hubby mahal ang mga gusto nyan. Since last month, i take note of the things that he likes and sometimes he said what he want. From all the things that he want, im going to choose on what to give him. Well hindi naman nya masyadong nababasa ang blog ko, nakikita lang nya minsan pag nag-u-upload ako ng picture kaya i dont have to worry na mabasa nya to **cross-finger**

As of today, eto pa lang ang naririnig ko na gusto nya, syempre dedma lang ako whenever he says something that he want:

Apple iphone 4

Of all the Apple products, we never had the chance to own an iPod touch and iPad. Ewan ko ba but im not an apple fan. We had apple shuffle to macbook but we ended up selling some of them kasi hindi naman masyadong nagagamit. Now i heard hubby one time that he wants an iphone4. Astig daw kasi! My cousins use ip4 also and they say maganda nga daw but i find the BB more useful. Anyway its hubby that wants the iphone4 not me. hehe

Nokia N8

N8 is the Nokia product that has almost the same features of the iphone 4. What i like with Nokia is its user friendly features and at the same time hindi mahirap ang pyesa in case magka-problema. Yun nga lang ang bilis mag-depreciate ng value. My officemate has an N8 unit and i find it amazing and cheap compare to Apple.

Nokia X7

Hubby said that its the upgraded version of his current unit (X6), more lighter nga lang sya and nice color. I dont know if he like this or what, basta narinig ko lang sa knya and i saw him googled the unit and look for the specs and the price.

Eto ang narinig ko na at the same time gusto ko rin. Perfect for our house.

LG Led TV in 55"

Yup, he said one time that he wants to buy one bigger LG LED TV for the living room and our current 32" tv will be placed in the master's bedroom.

Samsung S2

Recently, when we were in MOA, hubby thought of the new Samsung S2. We checked the unit and he find it nice...

Hay, its so hard to decide on what to give him but i want to give a nice gift as thank you gift na rin for giving me a house (one of every girl's dream, whether its small or big its still an investment) and also for loving me unconditionally and for being loyal and good provider.

What do you think is nice?

HELP! - Planning of Baby Shower Party

Last weekend, while dining at Red Kimono with my friend, another close friend of mine commented on my FB status post.

Acquey was the first one that i met and became an instant friend when i transferred in Perpetual School. She is pregnant now with her first child and will give birth next month to a baby boy.

Its seldom we see each other. She works in Taiwan as AutoCad Designer (not really sure of the name of her position but she design projects using Autocad). After that she came home then stay for a while, then leave again for Europe and stayed there for 1 year. Now she's back again because she and his bf planned of tying the knot and now she's pregnant na and plans to leave again next year for Dubai with her baby. Her hubby works in Dubai as engineer. By the way, She is one of Tami's godmother.

Anyway, she wants me to organize a shower party but im so busy with my life right now. I contacted one of our friend to ask for some help. After some conversations, our friend proposed a place named Atos Cafe in Casimiro, im not familiar with the place and i guess its not comfortable for Acquey to travel because of her condition. Im suggesting of ATC in one of the resto but we'll see.

Do you know a place near Bacoor that is good for a simple party? Acquey lives in Bacoor.

Please let me know if you have suggestions. Thank you.

The So-Not-Express experience with LBC Express

I just want to share my experience with LBC. I thought they were as good as 2GO.

Before my cousin left Davao on a Saturday. She bought boxes of Pomelo for all of us and he used LBC as Courier. He sent boxes to Laguna, Cavite and Manila. He handed me the receipt and it stated there that we will expect the box after 24 hrs. Sunday and Monday came but no box arrived in our doorstep.

Kuya Bing and I decided to call LBC customer service Monday afternoon. The customer service said that the delivery van stated Incorrect address thats why we did not receive the box, i checked the receipt and all the information (name, address and my contact number) were correct. I got pissed off with the customer service so i handed the phone to Kuya Bing so he can talk with the agent.

The reasons why we get mad with LBC's customer service agent:

1. What is the point of getting the client's number if they will not call or text the client of the status of the package, granted that the address is not correct, why they didnt inform me, kung di pa ko tatawag di ko pa malalaman?

2. The customer service is not accomodating, she keeps on talking while we telling our concern. Sya pa ang galit! Leche!

3. They promised to call back and will inform us again incase they can expedite the package. But no call. Tsk Tsk...

Tuesday came and sa wakas, dumating ang box of Pomelo ko, it takes 4 days ang delivery. What if nabulok ang Pomelo, babayaran ba ng LBC yun?

This is my second time that i experience this with LBC. Now im having 2nd thoughts to use LBC for my online shop. Hindi maganda ang service and they charge us a big amount.

LBC the not so express service! Kairita!

Buti na lang hindi nabulok ang Pomelo..

My Online Raket

Im a type of person na hindi sanay ng walang ginagawa and at the same time likes shopping so i came up of the idea selling goods from the US since a lot of people now enjoy online shopping. I asked my relatives to buy goods for me and im glad that they're willing to help. Another reason that i want to continue selling stuff is because i need an extra income for my future endeavors... haha

Anyway, after a month of waiting, finally the boxes has arrived last weekend. Two box arrived, one for our family and one for my online shop. The box for our family was distributed last Tuesday only and i only got the box for my online shop that tuesday also and since im busy this past few days, now ko lang na-post sa FB account ko. Sorry to those who wait.

And here's what we got:

Some goodies for Tami and Makeup for me

Yey! may big bottle na ulit kami ng JIF peanut butter.. To be honest, hindi na ko nabili ng peanut butter d2, ang mahal eh... nag-aabang na lang ng package. hehe

Lip Balms

From Bottom to Top: Covergirl, Blistex, Chapstick and the two lip balm which i dont know the brand.

Lip Gloss and Pencil

Bottom to Top: 2 Loreal Pencil and Covergirl Lip Shimmer

Loreal Liquid Foundation, Colorescience Sunblock and Clarins Loose Powder

I had once a Clarins Products with my previous work, our client gave me a Clarins set which includes the Body Oil, Lotion and Moisturizer. I was so inlove with the product that time and when the bottles got emptied, i rushed to Rustans to check if Clarins are available in Rustans, plano ko kasing bumili...

Putik! When i was about to pay the products, my salary is not enough for a 3 bottles of Clarins products. Ang mahal pala nun! The body oil alone costs P4k plus so imagine the 3 bottles of Clarins im using that time na binigay lang nung client namin sken...

By the way, Thanks to Tita Leris and the kids for my new loots... Kit, si Tami nainggit kay AJ, bakit daw sya walang baril? PAK! Baril na gusto ng anak ko! NOOOOOOOOO...... Oi Kit baka naman padalan mo ng baril si Tami after reading this.. its a big No No... Any toy is accepted except guns.. haha

Anyway back to my online raket, after the distribution of goods, we went home together with the package for my online shop and we started to unbox the package.

They're still using ALAS Cargo and the package arrived after 1 month.

Hubby is busy checking the goods and see kung ano ang pwede sa officemates nya..

Me too... Tami was asking kung ano daw yung sa kanya..

Some of the goods..

The goods...

If your interested of what im selling, you can view the goods here, and here, and here, and lastly here.

I look forward to do business with you..

The Ring

Its not the movie im talking about. This is all about Jewelry..

While in my Uncle's office, i asked Kuya Bing if i can take a photo of his ring and i want to show you the design because this is also the design of my Southsea Pearl Ring. The only difference is the color of the Pearl, Kuya Bing has the champagne color while i have the pearl white color.

Kuya Bing's Ring

Is it nice? Did you see the 3 lines underneath the Southsea Pearl? Its full of diamonds. Nice ring comes with a hefty price tag.

Now you wonder why i didnt show you the photo of my ring when i said that its also the design of my ring. Simple lang naman, wala pa kong extra moolah na pampagawa hehe.. Saka kulang pa ko sa diamonds :(

Haller ang mahal kaya! Guess how much Kuya bing's ring? Price will not go under PhP 80,000.00

Interested to buy his ring? You may contact me here in my blog.

Famous Egg Tart of Lord Stow's Bakery

When we were in Macau, it is one of the must-visit bakery located in Rua da Tassara, Coloane Town Square and is home to the world’s tastiest egg tarts. Glad that Lord Stow's now in Manila!

After our gastronomic adventure in Vikings, we were thinking of pasalubong for our kid and also to Kuya Bing's family and we ended up buying the famous egg tarts of Lord Stow's bakery located near the SM Department store in MOA.

Lord Stow's Famous Egg Tarts

6 pcs costs PhP 245.00

When we were in my Uncle's office because Kuya Bing is updating my Blackberry, we felt hungry and eat the egg tarts...

My yummy egg tart..

Unlike the other egg tarts found in some bakeries around the metro, this Macau pastry is more decadent and is so rich in custard filling.. So good that you will tempted to get another one :)

Look at the filling..

This is highly recommended egg tart.

Hubby while waiting for us in Lord Stow's bakery..

He's not a fan of egg tarts thats why he didnt eat a single tart. He just happy looking at us eating.

As to date, there are lots of Lord Stow's franchises spanning all over Asia including Philippines so no need to go to Macau just to taste the famous Egg Tarts.

How about you? Do you like Egg Tarts?

Vikings Luxury Buffet

The plan of meeting up last Sunday was moved to Monday because of my cousin whose not available that time and has meeting to attend to so i have to leave from work last Monday for our meeting.

We arrived early in the place and the moment we enter the restaurant, we already feel the ambiance Vikings has and you will already see their rates.

Vikings Rates

We were lead to our table 302 which is on window side overlooking the bay. According to some blogs that ive read prior to the meeting, the place can accomodate at least 600 pax.

Vikings buffet selection was also impressive. There were so much food and I didn't know where to start.

The buffet is separated into several stations, if im not mistaken there are 9 to 10 stations which is Asian, Western, Shabu-Shabu, Grilled as well as Filipino foods.

Some of the cold cuts..

Japanese entrees was also good with different makis and sushis and judging by the quality of food that were available that time, it became one of the must-try. Makis and sushis was the first plate that i had and i enjoyed the sashimi here.

The Western appetizers such as bread, soup, fresh green salads and also cold cuts.

Grilled Station

Hubby enjoyed the grilling section, wherein skewered marinated meats, raw seafood and fish prevailed. Among the grilled food, the grilled Salmon was the top choice of all we tried to. My cousin had to go back for another plate of Grilled Salmon and the Tuna Belly.

And they also have the Roast Beef and Lamb meat grilled station which is so good! You just have to fall in line because it is one of the busy station in the resto.

Not in the photo station:

Pasta and Pizza Station
Filipino-Western Station
Chinese Station

After attacking the food, save a little room for the desserts. Tons of different cakes and sweets and they also have ice cream station.

Aside from the dessert station, another glass stand for the additional sweets and cakes, this is also the station on where to get fruit shakes and ice cream.

The Juices

What i like with Vikings is that, with the rate they offer, the drinks are included in the price. And the drinks have variety too.. The juices, softdrinks and even fruit shakes! San ka pa? May beer and red wine pa!

We tried the juices and we liked it. The mango was good, not the powder type of juice, its like puree so i recommend the Mango and the Calamansi Juice.

Our photo on our first plate.

Hubby on my cousin's iPad..

Ui mukang gusto na nyang bumili.... hehe. He was looking for some design of the house in the net because our meeting was all about our house.

There's also this lavatory so no need to go to restroom just to wash your hands.

Dont forget to get only what you consume if you dont wanna pay extra.

Check nyo nga kung nasulit ko yung buffet.. Here are SOME of my plates:

Makis

I went back for the Sashimi and the Salmon Sashimi was the best talaga. Its one of my fave among the Sashimi especially when dip to your customized sauce...

Dimsum

Another favorite of mine is the hakao. Siomai is also good, Juicy and meaty. The chicken feet was a fail.

This was my 2nd plate from the Pizza Section. The first plate consists of 2 kinds of Pizza, the Pepperoni and the Vikings Special, i didnt had the chance to taste the pizza on my first plate because hubby consume it all and according to him, he likes the Pepperoni over the Vikings Special.

I had to go back on the Pizza section to try the Pepperoni, i also try Barbecue and get hakao again.

Baked Oysters! Yum Yum!

Desserts Overload!

Leche flan, cheesecake, revel bar, ube cake and the fruit and mallows with the chocolate from the fondue.

Among these group, the cheesecake was the best.

There are 6 different flavors from the Ice Cream Section and being the Avocado lover, i had to taste it together with the Dark Chocolate.

My bet: The Avocado. Its was rich in taste that i had to go back and ask for the 2nd scoop.

I was so happy that time because i was supposed to be the one treating my 2 cousins because they will be giving their free service to my house as my Engineer and my Interior Designer but ended up treating by my cousin.. Thanks Engineer Damvin..

If you want to spoil yourself over a luxury buffet, head out to Vikings located in San Miguel Bay at the back of MOA. It’s great for big groups and they also have private function rooms for parties like birthday, christening etc. From the price, you just have to add 5% service charge and dont forget to leave a tip because the staff are so attentive and approachable too..
