On my way home hubby texted me of his order for our dinner, di na kasi ako magluto ng dinner kaya bili na lang sa labas. Mukang nagutom nga ang loko... Since malayo ang KFC, Jollibee na lang...

Typhoon Pedring hits Manila!

While in the office, someone send this to our email and i was worried of what's happening outside. As much as i want to go home, we cannot leave the office because it business as usual for us, we have nothing to do but wait till our sked ends.

Mother-Daughter Bonding

One thing that i enjoy doing is going to grocery with my daughter because with this she learns how to look for cheap and expensive things, making budget and try to control herself with all that she wants. Last Saturday, she was not with us in Southmall and instead of doing grocery on that day ginawa kong Sunday so i can bring tami with me.

Sunday came and i told my daughter to get ready by 10am so we can do some grocery (actually toiletries lang bibilin ko) in SM, we went first to Starmall to buy pirated dvd's para may magawa naman sa bahay.

I know its not good to buy pirated pero lahat to hindi ko napanood sa cinema so walang choice kundi bumili ng pirated. Minsan lang naman to.. hehe

After buying dvd's Tami and i went to SM Center Hypermaket to buy toiletries and some chi-cha.

To be honest, hubby was the one who told me to buy toiletries kasi naubusan na kami ng facial wash. You heard it right! Hubby is also using Olay facial wash and moisturizer, he's really vain pero its normal to take care of his skin. If you see hubby in person, he has a good white skin at sa sobrang puti nagkakaron sya ng pekas pati sa kamay. When i said na hindi maganda yung pekas, aba lahat ng ginagamit ko ginagamit na rin nya from facial wash, moisturizer, lotion, lip balm etc... kulang na lang pati make-up ko at  feminine wash gamitin nya.

I also bought Pantene shampoo and conditioner in sachet because i want to try it first kung maganda ba sa damaged hair ko before buying in bottles. hehe

Kung ang Eskulin may makeup for kids, for sure magta-tantrums si Tami pag hindi nakabili. Ang bata-bata pa gusto na mag-makeup, di ko nga alam kung san nagmana to kasi hindi naman ako nagme-makeup. She was the one who pick the Eskulin cologne. In fairness, it smells good.

Do you see the bear brand choco milk? It was Tami who pick that. Originally her milk is Lactum 3+, i was about to get Milo so she can drink it in the morning but she doesn't want Milo and instead she pick the Bear Brand choco and said "Eto Mama hindi to mahal.." Nagulat ako sa words ni Tami because it was my first time to hear her with that in the grocery, usually nagtatalo kami kung mahal or mura when it comes to toys lalo na pag nasa mall kami.

I let her with the Bear Brand choco for her morning drink then Lactum choco during the day and at night. Hay.. nakakatuwa ang kids pag madaldal at pag may naririnig ka na bago and for sure hindi nila alam ang ibig sabihin nung mga pinagsasasabi nila.

Early Dinner at Kenny Rogers

Like what i've said in my previous post, we dont know where to eat in SM Southmall since we've tried all the restaurants there, with no other choice we went to Kenny Rogers but before going there, hubby bought DQ ice cream first and brought with us in the resto.

Kenny Roger's New Offer

Good thing, Kenny Rogers has now different food to offer like their sandwiches, new steak etc and now they're offering Chicken Hainanese. With no hesitation, i ordered the Hainanese Chicken Rice and Hubby chose the Rib Plate. We were advised to wait 10 mins for our order so we settled to our seats and took some pics.

One of the attendant handed me a pen and paper and while waiting i did the survey thing. After that our orders arrived.

Kenny Roger's Hainanese Chicken Rice 

Comes with the chicken soup plus the hoisin sauce, ginger and chili.

If you've been to Singapore, for sure you have tried the Hainanese Chicken Rice. Its always on my foodie list whenever im in Singapore and i must tell you that it was really good. 

With Kenny Rogers Hainanese Chicken, though the presentation is not that nice, i must say that the quality of the food is really good. The chicken was distinctly (may word ba nun?) hainanese and was so juicy and oh the rice, the rice was so good that i have to ask another extra rice. haha (**welcome again 2lbs hehe**)

Consists of 1 side dish, 1 muffin, rice and 1/2 slab of rib.

Hubby said he loved the tenderness of the meat and the sauce in it. Sarap to the bones daw.

It was a nice dining experience to both of us last Saturday and we never got dissapointed with what we have. Definitely were going back to Kenny's and im going to order their Hainanese again. It also affordable to the pocket, the Hainanese costs PhP 185.00, the Rib Plate is PhP 315.00, drinks are not included in the price, what i remember is i paid PhP 600+.

Unexpected Expenses on a Saturday

Last week, one of the staff of the developer called me because hubby needs to sign papers and pay for the additional labor cost because of our request which is transferring the stairs to another corner of the house for extension purposes.

Saturday came and hubby was not available because he needs to report and has lots of work to do in his office. I called Engr if its ok if im the one who sign the papers kahit si hubby ang buyer. Since im the wife, they allow me to go so i went to the office alone after lunch. Before going there, i drop by at Goldilocks to buy something to munch on while on the developer's office and the construction site.

After signing the papers, Engr. Albie accompany me on the site and im happy to announce that its on 40% construction. We talked about it and he said it was estimated to be finished late November then will wait for the Pag-ibig approval before the turn-over. 

With the timeframe that Engineer gave me for sure matagal pa kami makakalipat kasi given that it will be finish by Late November, i estimated the turn-over to be January (**cross-finger na maturn-over agad**). Once turned-over, the extension of the house will start and we will wait another 2 to 3 months... Hay..

During the site visitation, i called hubby about the updates of the construction and we decided to meet at SM Southmall.

With no new restaurants in Southmall, we dont know where to eat then and after going around twice we finally chose Kenny Rogers for our early dinner. Dinner on my next post.

After eating, we went around because it was sale to some boutique. Matagal na rin akong hindi nakakapunta ng mall because of our tipid mode kaya before going home, umikot muna kami, there are some newly opened store that we find nice and one of it was the F&X store.

There are cute stuffs that can be found in F&X store.. Lots and lots of disney, smurfs and other character. I also saw this corner with lots of Hello Kitty clothes. Im sure Tami will love this store because she's a hello kitty fan. I like the tutu and pink shorts but we never bought any because of the sizes.. We also bought loots for us.

After roaming around, we went home and drop by at SM Center to buy Jollibee for Tami and the yayabels.

Kids Swimming..

Sorry for the super duper delay of this post... Wait ko pa kasi yung ibang pics from hubby's cousin kaya ngaun lang. It was an unplanned swimming day for us but since Tami loves to swim we joined hubby's cousin together with their kids in Metropolis condo.

Whenever the kids wants to go swimming on a weekend, instead of going out of town we just tell hubbys cousin that we're going to their condo to go swimming. One of the homeowners privilege is they are allowed to bring members of the family to use the pool area.

Longchamp from Paris

One of my cousin whose a flight attendant will be going to Paris and Frankfurt this September 20 and will be back first to second week of October. With this, he offer Longchamp directly from Longchamp Paris so our other cousins including me go nuts looking for designs and color.

Iba kasi pag sa Paris talaga binili yung Longchamp. Rustan's is selling Longchamp but it is made in China, it is authentic but the manufacturing is from China unlike when you buy it in Paris, talagang made in France sya. And more cheaper compare to Rustan's. Actually i was about to buy one na nga sa Rustans Alabang the other week but i hesitated then. Buti na lang hindi ako nakabili. Sayang my other cousin (Ate Dalyn) already bought 2 last week kaya nanghinayang sya when my cousin said he's selling Longchamp Paris.

Im excited to receive my longchamp kahit October pa ang dating. I already have longchamp pero it is made in China, sa Rustans ko kasi binili pero ok lang authentic pa rin naman sya. When the bag arrives, i will make a post about it and the difference when you buy it in Paris and here in Rustan's.

Papa's Post Bday Celebration...

Last September 7, 2011 was my father-in-law's birthday and we celebrated it in a simple dinner with the family. We also requested a swimming day and yesterday was our schedule in Batangas.

Last Saturday, we stayed in the house because hubby started playing with the new PS3. I cooked for him because Tami and the yayabels were in my in-laws house, they want to sleep over there, mga excited kasi sa swimming. hehe.. I also sleep early pero ng magutom si badz kakalaro ng PS3 (around 10pm), he woke me up and we go outside just to buy food.

We went to Jollibee first and bought Champ and Jolly Hotdog then drop by at Starbucks because i want to try sana the Creme Brulee but i changed my mind and bought Green Tea cream for me and Java Chip venti size for hubby. We slept past 12am so imagine kung ilang hrs lang yung tulog namin tapos swimming na.

Sunday. Juvy's family weren't able to join because she has work so hubby's aunt and uncle together with his cousin joined us in our escapade. We had breakfast first in Tagaytay then headed to Batangas. I love going to swimming not because of the water but because of the food. hehe

We went to our fave resort in Batangas named Abaksa Resort because we want the pool in it and at the same time konti lang lagi ang tao.

I love the kiddie pool in Abaksa because of the playground in the pool and at the same time it is not scary to leave the kids there kasi mababaw lang talaga, there are also lifeguards around the area.

My daughter was so brave to stay on the other kiddie pool. Feeling nya masyado na syang big girl for the playground so she stays on the other pool...

Hubby and I stayed in the adult pool. Abaksa resort consists of 2 kiddie pools and 2 adult pools, both have slides..
