Do-it-yourself Party Needs

Since we are on a tipid mode and we just want our daughter to give a simple party because of her request to have a birthday with her classmates. We will be celebrating her birthday not in her school but in my inlaws house this coming saturday. Since my cousin whose an event planner is so busy, i will be the one tasked to manage and plan this kiddie party.

And party will not start without an invitation right?

With invitations, i dont have problem with that because i have lots of cousins who can do it and EJ is the one who design the invites. After designing the invitation he texted me to pick it up in my uncle's shop so i can bring it to the photo shop in SM Center.

The invitation print-out.

For those who are in a tipid mode mommies, you can do this also. If you have relatives who knows how to use Adobe Photoshop, better ask them to design your invitation. After that, bring it to the photo shop and have it printed. With my daughter's invitation, i bring it to Photoline shop in SM Center and they charged it for only P7.00 each (4R size).

Since the invitation is only 30pcs. I waited and saw this cute photo frame. I am thinking of buying this because it so cute and perfect for tami's future room. This photo frame costs only P195.00..

After the printing of invitation, i bought Baronial envelope in Bookstore. We already distribute the invitations last Sunday.

Cupcake Topper

After the invitation, we also made this cupcake topper, EJ also design this.

The Layouts

Part of my do-it-yourself kiddie party in Mickey and Minnie mouse theme is the party invites and other design of the party that highlights Mickey and Minnie. And with our unplanned kiddie party, i seek help from cousins and friends for the preparation of the party because i have only 1 week left till the event.

My cousin EJ designed the invitations, cupcake topper and the sticker for the lootbags. I want something unique thats why i didnt bought any common lootbags in Divisoria.

Here's the lay-out:

Party Invitation

He asked for Tami's pictures from Baby to present to show the transition and i like what he did. Perfect for the theme.

Cupcake Topper

Sticker for the lootbag and also serve as the Thank you tag.

Hubby and I liked what my cousin did.

Thanks EJ.

Home Made Facial Scrub

My beauty regimen every morning of weekend is having my own facial scrub.

I dont have flawless skin, in fact i have a Skin Asthma that makes my skin very sensitive. This makes me very careful in choosing products because it can damage my skin anytime. Aside from having diamond peel once a while, i make sure that i cleanse my face in our home using organic products or products that is good for sensitive skin.

This time, i wanna show my Home Made Facial Scrub. Ive been doing this for quite sometime as an alternative for facials. This also makes my skin texture good, moisturized and sometimes pimple-free.

The ingredients:

Pure honey - Honey is known for moisturizing and gives glow to the skin. I bought this from Ilog Maria.
(Click here to view their site)
Oatmeal - i used this as scrub to exfoliate dead skin cells.
Calamansi - known for whitening skin.

WHAT TO DO:

First step: Get a spoonful of honey and place it in small container. In my case i use platito.. hehe

Second step: Pour some oatmeal on the honey.

Third step: Squeeze the calamansi in the honey and oatmeal.

Fourth step: Mix all the ingredients.

After mixing all the ingredients, put it on your face and scrub it to exfoliate your dead skin cells. Leave it for at least 5 to 10 mins to absorb the vitamins of the honey and calamansi. Then rinse after. This will leave you soft and smooth skin.
