Sweets Overload!

Hi Guys!!!

Im so busy this past few days going to tripping and attending christmas parties. Later im going to attend to 2 christmas parties again, one in Antel Grand Village and last is our company's christmas parties. For sure madaling-araw na naman ang uwi ko nito.

Yesterday naman i went in MOA to have a meeting with my client at 8pm. We had dinner in Highlands Steakhouse and our dinner/meeting ended at 10pm tapos pag-uwi ko sumakit ang tyan ko, hindi na yata sanay ang tyan ko sa mamahaling restaurant. hahaha. Anyway me and my co-agent had fun last night kasi ang kukulit nung client ko, imagine they we're chinese and businessman so bigtime talaga pero super down to earth.. Ang bait talaga! Sana lahat ng buyers ganun no?

Anyway back to my topic, this was super duper late post as in.. hindi ko na nga sana ipo-post to kaya lang the product is worth the post. My friend and i went for a coffee last time in Figaro, we met because she needs to get the goods she bought in my online store. She brought this cupcake that she bought from Vanillla Cupcake Bakery in Glorietta and we had sweets overload that night.

Cute Packaging

The Vanilla Cupcake...

Mukang hindi masarap no? Pero pag kinain mo masarap pala and medyo moist pa yung cupcake meaning bagong gawa :)

My sweet tooth was satisfied that night..

At ang panulak.. Figaro coffee!

Mukang bumabalik na ko sa coffee ah kasi last Saturday naman hubby and i went in Starbucks while waiting for his 2 officemates (Gen and Jason). We went to Sitcom (Sat night) and we had fun too. Galing lang ni Osang! He's the one who joined the X-Factor in Abscbn. Sumakit ang panga namin kakatawa grabe. We went home at 4am that Saturday night.

Sana next time naman Zirko or Clownz or The Library.. Kaso ang layo lang eh...

But now, will be busy with lots of christmas parties. Im done with 3 parties, 2 parties today and 4 more to go... Im enjoying christmas this year! Lots of parties, lots of give aways, lots of chances to win in the raffle, lots of food! Patay na naman ang diet ko nito :)

Star Cruise Souvenir and Ikea Sweets..

My cousin went on a cruise recently and he texted me yesterday to come over to MOA and get my pasalubong. Me and hubby was supposed to be with him on the said cruise but we chose not to join because the house is our priority right now. If we go on a cruise with him, the estimated expense for the two of us is almost 100,000 inclusive of all tours and fares to Singapore-Manila and vice-versa. This does not include shopping and food pa kaya malaki talaga. Anyway, i still want to go on a cruise but not now. Maybe after the construction of the house at pag maayos na lahat.

They will go again on an Asian cruise this coming May. Hay... So sad that we will not be able to join them :) Wag ko na kaya munang ipagawa yung bahay? haha...

Yesterday, i went to MOA after office and i did a little shopping because its payday again. Woot! Woot!

Star Cruise ID Pin

Kaya pala hindi ako nagbabalak bumili ng id pin kasi may magbibigay pala sakin.

Cute naman :) Bagay na bagay sa ID ko...

And he also bought me Ikea Sweets in Singapore. He also told me that Ikea is on sale. He bought kitchen utensils in Ikea because of its 50 to 70% off the price.

Ikea Chocolate

He gave me sweets and this dark chocolate is my favorite! Perfect stress reliever :)

Me and Tami consumed the half of this dark chocolate bar..

Thanks cuzin for the pasalubong. I really appreciate small things lalo na pag bigay, kahit san pa yan galing or what, as long as galing sa puso ang pagbibigay.. hehe *drama*

Cuz, hubby wants the Star Cruise ID lace, can you buy him on your next cruise on May? And also pag sale pa din ang Ikea, let me know so i can ask you to buy me some goods :)

Simple Pleasures to Sweet Tooth

I love eating chocolates especially those na galing US, iba ang lasa ng chocolates na galing dun compared d2 sa Philippines. But its not everytime that we have chocolates in our fridge. And i will not buy those expensive chocolates as our everyday sweets lalo na ang Royce, kahit favorite ko sya hindi ako bibili all the time just to satisfy my sweet tooth. I have alternative to those and I wanna show you my simple pleasures.

Cloud 9 Chocolate Fudge

It was recently that my officemate bought this bars in our office and we tasted it, so far so good. And now everytime i do grocery, i always grab a pack so we have something to bite after our meals. Cloud 9 has Berry Burst flavor also.

LALA Milk and Chocolate

This has been my all-time favorite since i was a kid. Natigil lang when i went to college, i thought this has been phased out in the market, nagulat na lang ako one time when i saw one of my officemate eating this Lala. Meron pa pala. Nagpapabili pa ko sa kanya sa lugar nila yun pala meron din sa SM grocery, and they have bite size now. Hay..sarap..

Do you have simple pleasures?

Best hopia from Baker's Fair

After we shop in 168 mall and before we go home, Ayen brought us to this outlet selling hopia. She told us that everytime they go in Divisoria, they make it a point to drop here and buy hopia. Its her mom who discover this bakeshop..

Baker's Fair Bakeshop

They also have variety of breads and cookies..

The hopia section in front of the store. You will see here how they bake the hopia and what's good is they serve it fresh from the baking pan.

They have cakes too and panini's..

1 pack of hopia P100.00

This pack consists of 20pcs but you can bought the hopia per piece at P5.00. I bought this pack for our home. I want hubby and Tami try it.

When im home, i told hubby about the hopia and he loved it too. The remaining hopia placed in the fridge and this morning, we ate it and its also yummy even if its cold.

Will be back here when i go to divisoria..

Baker's Fair bakeshop is located in the 3rd floor of the old Divisoria mall. Medyo masikip nga lang ang daan papunta dun and ang dami talagang tao but its all worth it. :)

KK Trip: Cocoa Boutique

One of the famous tourist destination in Kota Kinabalu is the Cocoa Boutique. If you love chocolates, then this place is good for you. They sells different kinds of chocolate even the non-sugar ones and they also had different flavors to choose from. Sa sobrang dami, hindi mo alam ang bibilin mo...

Cocoa Boutique - Malaysia's largest chocolate paradise

When you enter the store, each flavor has a designated attendant and there's free taste. So we tried all of them and its very delicious.. As in lahat masarap especially the Tiramisu flavor.. Oh i love it!

All the attendants are very attentive to the guests and will welcome you with a smile.

The products is exclusively sold in this outlet only and could not be found in any grocery store so dont forget to drop by here..

According to some, the founder is one of the locals but studied in France and they make Belgian chocolates out of cocoa products. (Please correct me if this is true or not, its just a hearsay when we were there)

The cocoa...

Famous Mount Kinabalu made of chocolate.. You can see this inside the store but you cannot touch it...

The Sabah Map.. also made of chocolate..

This cute bears are sold at RM1.00 each only...

You can choose from different designs, flavors etc... Lots of products to choose from.

The chocolates that we bought. Since we want to try all the flavors, we bought 2 box each flavors..hehe

If i can remember, each box cost RM 7.99.

And we tried the almond flavor in the hotel..

Its very flavorful.. Worth every penny..

**Sorry sa mga officemates ko hindi na ko nakapagdala kasi bilis naubos eh...hehe.. Next tym n lang**

New Find: Cacao

When i went to MOA to meet my client for the Pearl jewelry, i decided to look for the candy stall somewhere in MOA. I missed eating chocolate coated raisin candy, i just dont remember the name because it was my officemate who always bought it in Market Market. And when im near the SM cinema, i saw this Cacao stall selling sweets.

This cacao stall is selling chocolates, pralines, belgian chocolates etc.

And i found what i want!

Pralines and belgian chocolates...

I bought a 100 grams of chocolate coated raisin and priced at P86.00 (because it was more than a hundred grams)..

Its like the one that my officemate bought in Market Market, its just that its not from Cacao stall.. But im now loving Cacao goods. Definitely will be back there soon :)

ROYCE Chocolate from Japan

Everytime i had an extra time, i always drop-by in Greenbelt just to buy a bar of Royce chocolate.

What is Royce?

Royce began in 1983 in Sapporo where the crisp climate, sweet waters and clean air make Hokkaido an ideal place for confectionary making.

Due to demand in the early years, ROYCE' began taking orders from customers from outside Hokkaido by telephone. Customers' names and addresses were manually recorded and their orders sent one by one from the factory. That was the beginning of our mail order system.

And when we started to bake cookies, people in the vicinity were drawn over by the fragrance from the factory. So tableswere put in front of the factory and the cookies were sold. That was the beginning of our retail shops.

Over the years ROYCE' has been gradually mastering the techniques to make really good chocolates of world class quality, with total dedication.

Today ROYCE' chocolates are enjoyed by chocolate lovers not just in Japan, but in many other countries around the world.

The fundamental ROYCE principle has always been to use only the highest quality ingredients, at a price that customers can easily afford.

We will continue to make high quality chocolates by observing our fundamental principles, and challenging our creative spirit.

Royce serves different kinds and flavors:

Pure chocolate, Prafeuille Chocolat, Chocolate Wafers, Potatochip Chocolate, Nutty Bar Chocolate, Amande Chocolat, Bar Chocolate, Baton Cookies, Petit Truffle, Marshmallow Chocolate, Coffee Beans Chocolate, Macadamia Chocolate, ROYCE Street, ROYCE Collection Can, Kokutoh Chocolate, Coffee Chocolate, Potechi Crunch Chocolate, Criollo Chocolate, Karintoh Chocolate, Kurumaro Chocolate, Nama Chocolate and the Aroma Collection

This is the store in Greenbelt 5 serving different kinds of Royce...

My favorite among the selections are the Nama, Potatochip and the Bar Chocolate...

I always buy Royce chocolate so i can try all its flavors. Last time i went there, i bought the cheapest one, the Bar chocolate priced at P250.00. Hubby also liked it.

ROYCE Chocolate price ranges from P250 (cheapest one) to P990.00. They also offer the ROYCE Collection Can for the price of P2,100.00.

Sans Rival and Silvanas of Dumaguete

Dumaguete is known for the best Sans Rival and Silvanas and when we are there, its one thing that is listed on my itinerary. After going to Silliman University, we walk along the Boulevard and some streets to look for the famous Sans Rival Cakes and Pastries shop to have our merienda and also to taste their specialty.

the facade of the Sans Rival shop

During our visit, the shop is jampacked with lots of people dining inside and out of the shop and some are waiting for their orders of boxes of Silvanas and Sans Rival, good thing that they are ready with that, the pastries are travel-pack ready.

They also sell whole and slices of cake and mind you the price of each was very affordable, a slice of cake cost around P30.00, very cheap and has incredibly good taste.

Since we went there for their specialty, Ayen and I ordered Sans Rival and Silvanas. I love the Silvanas more over the Sans Rival. Silvanas are spongy like and toasty with every bite, i love the sweetness and the butter taste.

I also love Sans Rival but its very sweet for me..

I also ordered Cappucino Espresso for P40.00...

The best Silvanas and Sans Rival is really in Dumaguete! To prove it to my hubby, i bought 5 boxes of Silvanas as my pasalubong for them. When hubby tasted it, he ask for more! Hubby and my baby consume almost all in the box. Truly the best!

Extra income for Christmas...

No. Not mine.

We were invited by hubby's cousin in their house to have lunch and to try some of her specialty. Since we were not busy, my daughter and i went to their house in time for lunch hehe. I found her cooking Carbonara which tami love the most among all pasta and special leche flan which is my favorite dessert. She said she made it for us.

Its time to pig-out... Actually i was on my diet now as preparation for my sister-in-law's wedding on December but when i saw this dessert, I immediately give-in....haha

Home-made Leche Flan.

I really love this dessert. The texture is very smooth and creamy and oh the caramel sauce has a balance of sweetness just the way i like it.

What more can i say? You have to taste it to appreciate.

Carbonara - same taste with Joey Pep's carbonara..

Tami can finish this huge plate of Carbonara...
