Family Day at SM Southmall (SumoSam day)

Last Sunday, hubby and I planned of going to Southmall. Wala na raw kasi akong time so i agreed. They wait for me till i finish my tripping with a client in Paranaque.. Buti na lang maagang natapos at 3pm. We left the house at 4pm with my in-laws.

My sister-in-law went to Mandaue Foam with his husband to buy house things because they will move in to their house this end of the month... Kami? Hindi pa and we're planning na paupahan na lang ang house na binili namin as part of our investment. Wala na kasing titira sa house nila hubby kundi kami together with my parents-in-law. Mas ok nga to kasi wala kaming poproblemahin with regards to Tami, alagang-alaga ang anak namin kaya walang problema kahit wala kami lagi sa bahay and im thankful for my inlaws for taking care of my daughter..

Anyway, when we arrived in Southmall we all parted ways. My SIL and BIL went to Mandaue and we to Sumosam to eat because im hungry after my 2 trippings that day.

SumoSam recently opened in Sm Southmall and i told hubby to try it.

Our Orders:

Japanese Fried Rice for Hubby

Seafood Ramen 

This can be shared by 3 to 4 people. Tami and I shared this bowl of Ramen.

Mango Yakult for tami but unfortunately she didn't like the taste so hubby drank it. Mango Shake for Tami and Watermelon shake for me.

Beef Yakitori for Hubby

I tried this and its super lambot and juicy.

I also bought Sunblock for me because you know naman that i do a lot of trippings with clients and Sunblock is my bestfriend for now...

We bought Tami this stuff toy and cage to catch up with her...

We had a great time last Sunday kahit na sobrang pagod ako from the trippings. Happiness of my kid is our priority so kahit pagod, gora lang!

Tokyo Cafe, SM Southmall and Birthday Outfits

Last monday, Hubby and I went to Southmall after our office to buy something for us. We anticipated na konti lang ang tao sa mall because its still holiday and for sure nasa bakasyon pa ang mga tao. True enough kasi sobrang konti lang ng tao sa mall nung dumating kami, the sad thing is walang sale :(

First thing we did is to eat. We went to Tokyo Cafe because its the only restaurant in SM Southmall that we haven't tried. I already saw this cafe in Mall of Asia before but didnt have the chance to try because its either we ate in other restaurant or hindi lang namin feel that time.

Tokyo Cafe served good food. No wonder this restaurant was full when we arrived. Our early dinner costs P1,200++ but its all worth it. We are full from our meal and for sure we'll be back again next time.

After our dinner, we did some retail therapy.

From local brands, Bench and Lee has nice fit for fat like me. No need to look for branded goods because i learned to look for cheap and nice items. Di na ko tulad ng dati (ako na kasi ang nabili ng gamit ko ngaun hehe), i have my priorities now and that is my daughter.

 Paperdolls blouses for me from SM Department Store..

Ang gaganda pala ng blouses ng Paper Dolls. Mag-aabang ako ng sale next time. Do you have any idea kung ilang percent ang sale ng Paper Dolls sa Dept Store pag may sale? Each blouse costs P999 kasi hindi sale, pag sale kaya magkano na lang?

And my daughter's outfit for her birthday:

Its Kuya Bing's birthday gift to Tami. When we were in Southmall, he called me and ask kung nasan kami. Sakto naman na nasa SM kami and pinapunta nya kami sa Peppermint and let Tami choose what she want. At first Kuya Bing like the shorts na katerno nung blouse sa Mannequin kaya lang di pa pwedeng mag-shorts si Tami because of skin asthma, she has scars pa from skin asthma sa legs :( 

Kuya Bing like naman what Tami picked and paid the items. Thanks Kuya Bing for the advance gift :)

Oye! Its payday and im on my halfday VL today. We'll go to Mcdonalds later to get the prize and giveaways so we can arranged the loots here in our house. Tami's excited already sa birthday nya! Ako hindi. hehe. Laki kasi ng gastos :(

Kenji Tei, Greenbelt

Date of Visit: February 25, 2012

Sorry for the late posts. I was really busy and hasn't uploaded the pictures from our trip. Meanwhile, ill post some of the entry in my draft folder since last week. hehe

Me and my colleagues had dinner in Kenji Tei located in Greenbelt. It was payday then and also the celebration of Jhoy's birthday.

 

Here's what we had::

We loved this ramen. The broth is really flavorful. Ramens can be shared by 2 to 3 people.

If you're a fan of green tea, definitely you'll love this cake. It's also one of their best sellers.

Taste not bad. The liquor overpowers the sweetness pero masarap pa rin :)

Dinner is fun especially with good friends over sumptuous meals. Im looking forward to another restaurant adventure with my colleague/friends. 

After dinner, we went to Glorietta and do some retail therapy.

 

Ang mga hindi nakatiis. They bought Ipanema slippers..

On the other hand, i bought naman 2 Converse shirts for hubby that he used on our CDO trip.

Tempura, Alabang Town Center

Merry Christmas Everyone!!!

I woke up in the middle of the night and felt hungry so i had fruit salad now and decided to go online to kill time. Sana lang antukin pa ko.

Last friday, Hubby texted me early in the morning and informed me that he has bonus. I was happy then because it means that we have something to save again aside from his 13th month pay, we also planned of meeting in ATC that afternoon to do our last minute christmas shopping.

We met after his work at around 4pm, we went directly to Rustan's to buy gifts and also something for us. Sa dami ng tao inabot kami ng almost 3 hrs to pick the items and pay.

We left the items in the Gift Wrapping section, the cashier told us to be back the next day to pick up the gifts because of the long line pero di na ko pumayag because i have no time to go back pa. Instead i asked them to wrap kung ano yung kaya nila and the rest will be on paper bag na lang. We went out first to have dinner then we told them that we will be back in an hour. Pumayag naman sila.

So off we find restaurant for our dinner, we went in the second floor to find restaurant and i was suggesting Tony Romas to hubby pero ayaw nya kasi walang tao na nakain. hehe. Instead of going to Omakase, i remember Tempura Restaurant which we always pass by whenever we go in ATC and there's something in this food outlet that can't be ignored so its a mutual decision from both of us to try it.

The menu is divided into main dish, appetizers, Yakiniku, Don Buri  etc and pati promo for the week which is good because you dont need to ask about it.

 

We were seated in the couch near the counter. 

The restaurant is not full that's why our order came fast.

Our drinks arrived first. I had Watermelon Shake and hubby's soda.

Came next is the Bento Box that Hubby choose.

Hubby's bento comes with the free Miso Soup and soda that makes it quite a bargain :)

I ordered this extra rice kasi for sure nagutom ang bebe ko.

 

Seafood Ramen

I want Ramen so i go with the Seafood Ramen. This order can be good for 2 to 3 persons sa dami.

 

Temari Sushi

Consists of Ika, Maguro, Sake, Ebi and Kani balls stuffed with crunchy Salmon bits. As usual, ako lang ang umubos nito kasi di nakain si hubby ng raw foods.

 

Agedashi Tofu

Deep fried Japanese bean curd topped with special sauce and bonito flakes. If your familiar with Takoyaki, the same flakes are used in this both dish.

Gwapo lang nya d2 kaya pinost ko din. hehe

We were full already when they serve the dessert. It was supposed to be Green Tea ice cream pero ayaw ni hubby kaya he changed my order to Coffee Jelly.

 

Coffee Jelly

Flavored jelly topped with vanilla ice cream and sprinkled with choco chips.

 

Since im bloated already, he finished the dessert alone.

We had a satisfying dinner at Tempura Japanese Grill that we need to stay a few minutes before going out. Hubby smoked first then we went back again to Rustan's to get the gifts.
