Late lunch in Kenny Rogers

After going in our house last Saturday, we decided to go in Southmall and have our lunch before going home. We asked Mama of where she wants to eat and said Kenny Rogers (feeling ko fave nya yun hehe). While going there, i have Hainanese chicken in my mind as my order but to my dissapointment it was not available that time :(

As we were looking in the menu board, we saw a new poster of the new must-try. Kenny Rogers never fails to offer something new. After introducing the roast and grill entrees, now comes the new Honey Roast Chicken released last Nov. 15, 2011 only and perfect for the christmas season. Since its new offer from Kenny Rogers we already want to try it.

We ordered the Group Meals that consists of the following:

1 Whole Honey Roast Chicken that comes with honey-garlic sauce.

4 side dishes and 4 muffins

Rice and a pitcher of Soda or Iced Tea.

Honey Roast Chicken can also be enjoyed in Solo Plates and Combo Meals. After eating our lunch, i can say that the chicken is juicy and very flavorful. Ika nga nila "Walang Sayang"...

There's also new side-dishes pala, bat parang di ko nakita to last time?

I wanna try the new side dishes.. Oh well, next time when we go to mall for another christmas shopping adventure :)

Have you tried the new Kenny Rogers Honey Roast Chicken?

I like the new Greenwich!

Last week (Monday), we went to Perpetual hospital for tami's check-up and laboratory tests. Tami cry out loud while having blood extraction and she didnt stop crying even if its done already, she keeps on saying na masakit daw yung injection... To console her, i bring her to Dave's Funhouse in Southmall so ayun tumigil ng kakaiyak... hehe..

I texted hubby that we were in Southmall so he can go there too after his work. While she's busy playing, i went to Jollibee and bought her rice and chicken nuggets for lunch. Sinusubuan ko pa si Tami inside the playhouse, buti na lang yung isang staff dun nalipat from ATC so kilala na si tami and she allowed her to eat inside. Thanks ate:)

Tami inside Dave's Funhouse

I never thought na malaki ang space ng funhouse in southmall ska maganda palang pumunta dun during weekdays kasi that time they were less than 10 kids kaya she can move around freely and one more thing is its more cheaper during weekdays. Unlimited rate on weekdays is P320.00 compare to P360.00 during weekends. Socks price is P20.00.

When hubby arrived, we walk around and see what's new in the mall, we also tried the 4D Maxrider located in 2nd floor across Dave's Funhouse. Rate is P120 for less than 15mins.. Hhhhmmm.... a bit pricey compared to EK's discovery theater.

Hubby in the waiting area. Above him are the choices that you can watch. We ask the staff of what is the best and they recommend the Speed Master. Its like youre riding the real roller coaster with steep heights and around mountains... Kaloka! Sumakit lang katawan ko dun!

And the funny thing that we're not aware of is the monitor outside the moviehouse kasi kung kami nanonood ng movie, yung mga tao naman na nadaan sa labas nung 4D Maxrider ay pinapanood kami dun sa monitor... So imagine kung ano itsura namin while riding, napapanood pla ng ibang tao... Bigla nga kaming nahiya at may picture pa daw! Until now di pa rin namin nakukuha yung free picture namin.. Ano kayang itsura namin dun? Waahh...

After riding, we met hubby's cousin (Janssen) because i have something to give to her kaya pumunta syang SM. We decided to eat merienda and we chose Greenwich para maiba lang...

We chose the Barkada Package that consists of Pizza, 3pcs Lasagna, Sidekick fries and soda... I dont remember the price of the food that we order but im sure that its less than a thousand bucks.

Ang dami na palang ino-offer ng Greenwich.. The last time i ate in Greenwich was college pa yata ko, if im not mistaken its lunch-out with friends/classmates....

Anyway, here's our merienda that time:

Lasagna

Just like Macaroni topped with lots of cheese..

Pizza Fries called Sidekicks...

Hubby's fave Pepperoni Pizza

The barkada package comes with Pitcher of soda...

me and hubby..

OO talagang nag-usap kami ng isusuot that day pero di namin napag-usapan na pupunta ng SM. Para lang kaming mag-jowa dating with the same clothes... At may nakasalubong pa kaming mag-jowa na pareho din sila ng damit...

Uso ba yun?

Hubby's treat at CPK..

Last Saturday, hubby treated me including his 2 agents to CPK. At first, i want Omakase so we trooped to Casa Susana building only to find out that its already close for lunch. We cannot wait for dinner just to taste Omakase food because of our movie sked so with no choice, nasunod na rin ang gusto ni hubby na pizza thats why we chose CPK.

Here's what we have. I am the one who ordered the food and i always go to safe choices for the first-timers which is hubby's agents..

Drinks:

 Iced Cappuccino for Hubby
Hot Cafe Latte for me
Watermelon shake for Emma
Bottomless soda for Gelhai

Four cheese Pizza

This Italian Pormodoro sauce with smoked Gouda, Fontina and Mozzarella cheeses is so good especially with its super thin crust. Very flavorful.. And as always, you can never go wrong with Cheeses.

Singapore Shrimp Rolls

Consists of shrimp, shiitake mushrooms, carrots, noodles, bean sprouts, onion and cilantro and comes with dipping sauce and Szechuan slaw. I didnt expect that the slaw is spicy.

Spaghetti Bolognese for hubby and Emma

Spaghetti Carbonara for Gelhai

And Garlic Cream Fettucine for me.

Obviously its one of my fave from CPK.

The happy diners

Emma and Gelhai

Im the only one who eat the Singapore Shrimp Rolls kasi di nila feel ang veggies pero para lang syang Fresh Spring Rolls of Vietnamese food.

Hubby with the take home Spaghetti Bolognese...

With the price, i don't remember if it has extra service charge, i saw the bill and its P2,450.00 for all our orders. Hubby even leave a P50.00 tip to our server. To sum it all, food from CPK is always a top notch but a little bit pricey..

Thanks Be for the treat... Next time Omakase na ha...

Dinner at Pho Hoa Noodle House

I told myself that im going to control my rice everytime i eat and it was a success because i only eat 1 cup of rice in a day. Dont ask me if its effective because all i know is its good to maintain a healthy diet and im going to continue this as much as i can kasi feeling ko talaga rice ang nagpapataba sakin. And when it comes to ulam, i always go for a healthy food like veggies and fish etc...

Last week, I was craving for some fresh spring rolls and when hubby told me to meet him at Alabang Town Center last Saturday after his work, i was thinking of Pho Hoa for our dinner. When he ask me what i want to eat, i didnt think twice, i immediately say Pho Hoa...

So it was Vietnamese food for our dinner last Saturday.

Pho Hoa is Vietnamese food but originated in the US and was brought here years ago. Pho Hoa is famous for their noodles which is very good i believe. Although it is classified as fast food noodle house, I enjoy dining here because of its great service, food presentation and the fresh veggies on the food.

Here's what we had for dinner:

Iced Coffee...

I told hubby to try this Vietnamese Iced coffee because its one of my fave from Pho Hoa. It was the first thing to arrive in our table.

Hubby looking at his iced coffee.

He took picture of me while waiting for our food...

Pho Ga
 Chicken Noodle Soup

Since im having a no-rice diet, i ordered their Chicken Noodle Soup. When eating at Pho Hoa, its best to share this bowl of noodle soup because the serving is really huge. I ordered the small one but this bowl can feed 4 persons.

The noodle soup is best to have this, it came after the noodle soup, just squeeze the lemon, put some bean sprouts and basil leaves then its ready to eat.

Goy Cuon
Fresh Spring Rolls

The best seller starter dish and the one im craving for almost 3 days...My all time favorite at Pho Hoa. A combination of veggies, shrimp and pork spring rolls. I love dipping the fresh spring roll into the peanut sauce..

Grilled Pork with fried spring rolls.

Since hubby is working out in the gym, its a must for him to eat rice always because it helps him to gain weight and he was so hungry that time. According to him, the pork is really tender and he let me taste the fried spring roll and its yummy too. Perfect when dipped in the vinegar.

Cucumber shake for me...

I love eating cucumber so the taste is not a surprise to me but if you were dining at Pho Hoa i suggest you try this.

Pandan Mongo Cake

Do you know kutchinta in tagalog? This is made of rice sticky cake made in pandan and mongo and its really delicious

Dining at Pho Hoa always makes me full even without rice. Oh! Did you know that they do not have additional service charge?

Look at our table, i didnt finish my bowl of noodle soup, tinulungan pa ko ni hubby nyan but i manage to finish my fresh spring roll.

I love dining at Pho Hoa.

Pepper Lunch @ ATC

With my previous post, i told you that we ate in Pepper Lunch for our lunch. Its my first time eating there and i didnt know what to expect. We walked in first and check the menu, hubby and i decided to try it since its new to us. Well, Pepper Lunch has been around the metro since i dont remember and since we had the chance last Sunday, we finally give in. From what i know, Pepper Lunch is a DIY Japanese Teppanyaki and i love Japanese dishes so this become one of my restaurants to go to when in ATC.

What is Pepper Lunch?

Pepper Lunch is an affordable DIY fast food steakhouse with more than 200 outlets in Japan. Pepper Lunch promises a dynamic and fresh culinary experience for everyone by presenting the novel concept of a sizzling steak. You can enjoy juicy steak with a sizzle at affordable prices.

Pepper Lunch facade

We settled outside since its not that hot because of the weather. We first order what we want to try and since its lunch, we both want rice. The ordering here is just like in other food regular food chains, fall in line, order in the counter and on the receipt you will see your designated table. Unique setting!

The funny thing is we get our table first outside and when we got the receipt, it has the same table number. Coincidence?

Here's what we tried:

Hubby got Beef Pepper Rice..

Mine's teriyaki...hhhmmm? ( i forgot the name)

After they completed our orders, hubby and i are staring to each other because we dont know how to eat it! hehe.. Yun pala nasa paper yung instruction.. hehe

See the paper on the plate? This tells on how to eat the Pepper Rice. You just have to mix all the ingredients on your plate and put some sauce in it. Be extra careful not to touch the plate because its really hot.

My Food. Its super duper yummy! Addictive! My order is fulfilling maybe because of the egg.

What's Unique with Pepper Lunch? Definily the iron plate.

With its unique design patented in Japan, the iron plate is part of the successful formula of Pepper Lunch.

Using a special electromagnetic cooker also patented in Japan, the iron plate will heat up to 260C in 70 seconds and remain hot (approximately 80C) for more than 20 minutes. Meat grilled at this ideal high temperature, remains tender and juicy. The plate keeps food warm for a longer time and customers can enjoy the full flavor of the dish.

The happy campers enjoyed Pepper Lunch so much. See the proof?

Since im watching my diet and rice consumption, maybe will try again other menu in this branch next month. Steak next time!

Quick Lunch at Classic Savory

Last Saturday, when i arrived in the house, i saw hubby and one of his agent there waiting for me because his agent will buy new cellphone and he wants to ride on hubby's credit card account and he want me to accompany them. I arrive at exactly 9am but since SM Center will open at 10am, i took a nap then hubby woke me up at around 10am. Me, tami, hubby and his agent went all to SM Center just to buy cellphone and eat lunch.

After buying new cellphone, we decided to have lunch there, We treat his agent to Classic Savory. We were looking for some restaurants but there's no new place. We were thinking of Razon's then but they serve mostly merienda food so we go for the Classic Savory.

Hubby and his agent

I made the order and while waiting, im making kwento about our team building and the fun Pinoy-Henyo game. By the way, hubby and his team will be having their team building also in Dangsky resort, i made the reservation in behalf of hubby when i was there.

2 orders of Yang Chow Rice

All of us ordered the famous Classic Savory Tea..

After eating lunch we headed home because all of us are sleepy already. Hubby and his agent came from their night shift while i from our team building in Laguna.
