Activities in Boracay

Thinking of what to do in Boracay?

During our 3 days 2 nights trip in Boracay. Here are the activities that we did and you can do it also when you plan your trip.

ISLAND HOPPING

Island hopping depends on the arrangement of the tour operator and your group. With our trip, our supervisor was the one who talk and took charge with the arrangements and since were a large group, we pay only P150.00 per head for the first 4 hours including the trip to Puka beach, the Crocodile island, Fairways etc.

PUKA BEACH

If you want to swim in a very clean and enticing water in Bora, try to go here in Puka beach and you'll reach this paradise thru island hopping. I also heard that you can reach this by riding the tricycle..Its the first stop in our island hopping...

In the duration of our trip, we only swim here at the puka beach because at the time we went here, we are the only people aside from the ice cream vendor and the people who maintain the site.

SNORKELING

Snorkeling is famous to all island here in the Philippines and its part of the itinerary of our island hopping.

UNDERWATER EXPERIENCE

Its one of the famous activities in Boracay. Majority of us tried this experience and im one of those who did not try it. I know its beautiful down there but im scared to try it. The pressure in the helmet that you're going to use is so high, we just stayed in the boat. The operator give us discount because were from a large group, they only charge P500.00 per head including the CD that contain pictures.

JET-SKIING

Its one of the activities that i love to do with hubby. But here in Bora we did not try it because we dont have spare time and another reason is its too expensive to rent a jetski. I think it cost P2,500 for an hour of use. While waiting for the banana boat, all of us took some pictures while riding this jetski...

PARASAILING

The most famous activity in Bora. Price depends on how many you are in a group. The operator charged P1,500 each. If youre not afraid of heights then you will enjoy the parasailing and you'll see the beauty of the whole island when you're above.

BANANA BOAT

The last activity that we did in Bora. Only 15 in our group tried the banana boat and im one of them. Like the parasailing, the price of each depends on how large your group is. According to the operator, the minimum for the banana boat is 6 persons and we got discount again, they charged us P180.00 each since were 15pax. The sad thing that happen to me during this activity is when i dropped in the water and my eyeglasses was lost.

Our team surely had so much fun doing those activities. Pricey but its all worth it!!!

Kulitan moments in Boracay

2ND DAY
Waiting for some of the team.. This pic was taken beside the pool and in front of the Buffet area for the breakfast. Tomguts na!

After having breakfast, we did nothing but the kulitan moments...

Super saya!

Jonah's Fruitshake in Boracay

Before we call it a night on our first day, we stayed at Jonah's fruitshake along Station 1 to freshen up. The place were jampacked with teens, party people, barkada but instead of liquor in their table, you will see different fruit shakes and pica-pica.

Jonah's has been hailed as the maker of the famous and best fruit shake in the island and we give it a try when we saw their place. When the attendant handed us the menu, i saw my favorite fruitshake which is Avocado and i ordered it without thinking twice. Unfortunately, Avocado shake is not available that time so i go for the Mango Banana Shake. Price range from P75.00 to 150.00 depending on the combination. They have a wide variety of refreshing fruit shakes and each one is a must-try when you get there.

Mango-Banana Shake

Jonahs served in huge glasses that will surely quench your thirst. If you want it for takeout, Jonah's will pack it up for you in a recycled mineral bottle with a straw poking out of the cup. What i love about Jonah's fruit shake is the fine crushed ice.

Jonah's is located along the Station 1 of Boracay...

Firedance in Boracay

One of my agenda in Boracay is to watch the fire dancers in their performance. On our first night, we stayed in one of this bar (dont remember the name) just to watch the firedancers and i was in awe when i watched them live..

I noticed that the people are more alive at night in Boracay. During sunrise, you'll hardly see them swimming in the beach but when its night, all the people are out partying and drinking. Even my team is out in the night to party, drink, walk and laugh with each other.

Here are some pics of the Firedance from my digicam.

After the solo performance in the bar, the group went along the shore for their group performance.

They're amazing, right?

Our team in Boracay...

Days ago, i blogged about the details of our team building trip in Boracay and we're now back from our 3 days 2 nights trip.

As what ive said, our team headed to Boracay via Cebu Pacific last May 29 to 31, 2010 for our team building. Would you believe that it is my first time in Boracay? Yes! its my first time. Since i was a kid, we travel to different places (domestic and international) but never had the chance to explore this island because i never liked the beach ever! I dont know why maybe because i dont know how to swim or im afraid to get drowned. In this stage of my life (mid-20's onwards), its the time that i got the chance even some of my cousins to explore the beautiful beaches here in the Philippines and im starting to love the beauty of waters. Not too late to become a beach bum..haha

We stayed at La Carmela de Boracay located in Station 2. We are a group of 20 and we got 8 rooms for all of us.

Since we arrived after lunch, we just rested for a while, arranged our things, talked about our activities and what to do during our stay, where to eat etc...After a couple of hours, we prepare ourselves for dinner but before we look for a place to chow down, we went first to talipapa to shop some pasalubong...

During the night, after we ate dinner, we walked around Boracay all the way to Station1 where the busy night life happens. And we did enjoy what we saw when we walk along the shore. Taking pictures to sand castles, to Boracay Regency, to the grotto, watched the fire dancers, listened to music while some of our team drink liquor. After we get tired of walking, we stayed in our room and watch tv while preparing our things for the next day island hopping.

Things to Bring in Boracay...

Two more days and our team will be heading to Boracay...And now i am looking for some things in my closet and choose what to bring in this trip and see what i need to buy on the day before our trip.

 2 Travel bags

I only use my Esprit bag for lightweight clothes in order to avoid heavy or bulk baggage and another small bag for important things to bring like cellphone, psp, wallet etc....

Since we went there for the beach, i have to mix match my new and old swimsuits...

And to cover some of my bulges and my CS operation mark hehe, my must-have for a beach getaway is the swimsuit cover.

Ill bring my new Coach Visor and my old Roxy visor so i can protect my face from the heat of the sun... The MYX shades that i can use with grade.. I dont have any sunglasses because it is very limited for those who have high grade.. Water resistant watch to be updated with the time and of course the towel...

The most important is the Sunblock. The higher the SPF the better..

Things to buy on Friday:

- Sunblock for face
- Clothes

What else?
