Tami's Recognition (Raves & Rant)

Yesterday morning (Saturday). We attended our daughter's recognition because she is one of the Outstanding students in Kinder 1. I noticed in the invitation that they don't have the 1st honor, 2nd honor etc... I asked one of the mommy who sat beside me during the recognition whose hands on with her kids and she's the one who goes with her kids to school unlike with my daughter, her yaya is the one who accompany her because hubby and i both have work. And the mommy knew about it. She told me that for the Kinder 1 and 2, they call it Outstanding Pupils rather than 1st to 5th honor. But with the Prep, they had it because they have graduation rites. Huh? Whats the difference?

When the kids enter elementary years, thats when they have 1st to 5th honor to recognize the childs skills. Anyway, were still happy that they recognize my daughter as one of the Outstanding Pupils.

I posted here weeks ago that they required us to pay P500.00 for the recognition and that includes:

group picture (outstanding students)

~~corsage~~, boutonnieres, ~~invitation~~, decoration & accomodation?

Of all these, only the marked one are the only things that i saw and im just wondering that why do they charge the expense of the decoration, invitation and others to the parents of the pupils? And not only that, Recognition and Graduation rites of the Prep happens at the same day. Kaya ang mga kids (kinder 1 and 2 awardees) are really bored that time. They cant help but to loiter around.

Sana baguhin nila ang schedule ng Recognition and Graduation, to think na sa dami ng pre-school and if they collect P500.00 each, cguro nman it will not cost them big time sa decoration ng place.

In fairness, maganda ang medal na binibigay nila. Eto lang ang nagustuhan ko yesterday.

I made the right decision to transfer Tami to Divine Light because with the quality of education that i saw with Camella, they not worth of the high tuition fees.

Cosmopolitan: What's in my Bag?

Our training ended yesterday! Yey! Back to normal work... I now have more time to blog... And its saturday, nothing to do and now i decided to blog Cosmopolitan's "What's in my Bag?" my version.. hehe

I am a fan of Cosmo's What's in my Bag Page. I always visit their site to check whats new and take a peak with our local artists beauty loots, oh and the bags! I love it!!! And i must admit that im a hoarder but organized person. I love posts like these! It’s so interesting to see what other people are carrying around and sometimes it gives you an idea what you should need to try, for example on makeup, some people has reviews on their post and for that you will know if its worth buying or not.

To start with. I will show my favorite office bag. I change it everytime im in the mood to use my other bags and depends on what im wearing.

Because i feel im an OC person, i make sure that i take note all our expenses to keep track of it, our payables and some other things to do.. Its very important to me kasi sobrang makakalimutin ako (some other say because of the anesthesia when i gave birth to my Baby kaya naging makakalimutin ako)

Kate Spade Wallet

Everyone needs wallet to keep the bills.. In my case, puro cards and receipts lang ang nakalagay jan...hehe.. I use my coin purse for my money.. Ewan ko ba sa sarili ko bakit pag may nagustuhan ako bili agad kaya i end up not using the things i bought, nakatambak lang.

Cellphones and headset

I told you before that im not a gadget person. Basta may text and call lang keri na...What i love the most in my fones is in my Nokia, i have radio that i can use when going to work, i love listening to Goodtimes with Mo in the morning and with my Samsung, ayaw ko syang mawala because it has flashlight and its very important nowadays because of brownouts dba? Saka kiber ko ba kung pangit fone ko. Celfones are not investment because every month it depreciates.. Will talk investment on my next post.

Perfume

I love the scent of this Benetton Inferno, thanks to my officemate for introducing this scent to me. Cheap pa!

Temptation of Wife

Do you know this show in GMA-7 called temptation of wife?

Temptation of wife is a koreanovela drama and was translated in Tagalog here in the Philippines.

Synopsis of the story:

A serious accident left Marcel believing that his wife, Angeline, drowned and died. However, Angeline survived the accident only to return to find that her husband has another woman and a child.

One night Angeline got drunk and Marcel took this opportunity to take advantage of her. Angeline and Marcel got married but their marriage is not a very blissful marriage. Angeline's best friend, Haidee, openly flirts with Marcel in front of Angeline. Marcel decided that he did not want to remain married to Angeline and tried to kill her. Angeline was presumed to have drown and died. Marcel thought he was successful in killing Angeline and moved on with Haidee. Months later, Angeline is back for revenge but she presumes the identity of another woman, Chantal, who had killed herself. And did you know that i became instant fan of this show? Yes I did! Everytime i rode the bus going home (around 4 to 5pm), the tv on the bus is always tuned-in to Channel 7 and with my 1hr ride to bus, i was able to know the story of this show.. hehe... Sa house naman hindi din ako makapanood because our tv is on disney or any cartoons channel when tami is watching or in discovery/history/hbo channel when hubby is watching.. Thats why im not updated with the local shows here.. Sa office lang ako nakakasagap ng mga tsismis regarding shows sa tv...

And now i am so sad because hindi ako nakakapanood ng temptation of wife sa bus because i still have my remaining days in our 2 weeks training in work, i always came home late. :(

Ano na kaya nangyari? Hay.... For the love of job! Choz! hehe

I was passing by this kiosk in MOA when i saw this yummy Lemon square. I bought 2 bozes of this as my pasalubong for my daughter and hubby.

Hair Care Found!

Every payday or every 2 weeks, we are scheduled to do a bonggang Grocery that is good for two weeks. After completing our grocery, i went to the Hair section to look for products that is good for rebonded hair. Since i undergo rebond months ago, feeling ko nasira na hair ko (feeling ko lang nman yun) kaya im looking for good products that is good for damaged hair like mine and will make it soft and manageable.

Here is what ive found and will try in a few days:

Loreal shampoo and conditioner

Its my first time to use this so lets see if its good to the hair.. Baka gumanda hair ko like Anne Curtis pag ginamit ko to.. hehe

Loreal 1 minute Caring Mask for Hair

I tried using this once and i liked the result. Its like cream silk when you put it on your hair. Very soft.

Aveeno Shampoo and Conditioner

Knowing Aveeno, for sure it is good for my hair and scalp.

Having lip balm is a must because it protects our lips and it makes our lips soft. Hubby always ask me kung anong ginagamit ko sa lips ko kasi ang lambot daw... See? The benefit of using lip balm. hehe

Lewis & Pearl Colognes

I heart Lewis & Pearl colognes particularly Dew Drops because its the nearest scent to my D&G light blue perfume. Too bad it was out of stock when i went to grocery few days ago...

I also like the Dream scent.. Anyway, i want to have all those and try each.. Proven that its scents are all light and stays long, im using it for more than years now..

Wishing of a new sala set...

When hubby and i went to southmall before christmas to buy gifts, i saw this beautiful bag in Charles and Keith outlet, super duper mega isip ako kung bibilin ko ba or hindi. There were so many thoughts running in my head that time:

First thought: If im going to buy that bag for P2,800, magiging dalawa na yung new bags ko na hindi pa ngagamit...

Second thought: Kung bibilin ko yung bag sa Charles and Keith for sure mababawasan ang budget ko for the gifts and that is a Big No No...

Third thought: Kung bibilin ko yung bag, pano na kung may magregalo saken ng bag for Christmas? Bka matabunan naman ako ng new bags...

Hay... In the end, i decided not to buy that bag kasi i still have one new bag and its not my priority now. Ang asawa ko nman pinipilit ako na bilin na para daw may regalo ako sa sarili ko... hay naku! lalaki nga nman.. minsan mgagalit pero papayag din pla na bumili ka ng bag...

Anyway, Hubby wants to have a new sala set na pwedeng tulugan kapag daw inabot sya ng madaling-araw sa paglalaro ng computer games. Syempre as a wife, gusto ko na din yun kasi its for our own home nman eh kaya ok lang... I was scouting some sala set online and found this:

This sofa set from Our Home was very nice and comfortable pero feeling ko hindi to tatagal kay tami.. Sa sobrang lambot baka gawing trampoline ng anak ko...sayang lang dba?

When im in the office, my officemate/friend told me na yung kakilala ng mother nya went to their house and she learned that they customize sala set, bed or other things in the house using rattan. The family of my officemate know them so for sure they create quality furniture. As i was looking online about the furnitures that are made in rattan, i found this:

Jigsaw Puzzle for kids..

My sister-in-law bought this puzzle for the kids.. Its made of wood and its perfect for kids because it will practice their patience and abstract skills...

Yesterday, i saw my 4 yr old daughter playing with the puzzle and i was amaze on how she put the pieces into place..

Here she is down to last piece....

The 2 puzzles... Well its not hard to complete this puzzle because it is bigger than the ordinary puzzle... Its just that it so hard for some kids to do it alone and im so glad that my daughter has the patience to finish this...

This can be found in SM department store for only P100.00...

I heart Breadtalk!

I always love Breadtalk that everytime i go to ATC or Glorietta, i never miss buying bread here for pasalubong to my hubby and baby and to my in-laws.

Last week, i dropped by at Breadtalk Glorietta since im near the vicinity. I texted hubby first to know what he wants and as usual, the same old words that i always hear from him "bahala ka na, basta masarap".
