Expected Package

Yesterday afternoon, my aunt texted me to go to my Uncle's business office to get the package sent by our relatives from the US through Miguel (my cousin who recently won the Intel Science in LA). I dragged Tami with me to go in the shop while hubby is taking a bath and preparing for work.

While on the shop, Tita Ne is making kwento about Miggy's trip to US and how he won the contest. After that, she gave me the package for my family. Thanks to Cantos Family for the goods. Aside from the $$$ that i received, here are the goods for us:

5 pcs blouses from Old Navy and Billabong also for Tami.

Unexpected Package

Last Jan. 28, 2010, my aunt texted me because of another package that arrived in my uncle's office. I wasn't expecting any because my aunt's family in the US already gave us christmas presents last December including money. When i received the text, we were having our dinner and after finishing my food, i hurriedly went to my uncle's office to get some loots for us..


Here's what we've got:

Short story: When i arrived in our house, Tami saw the items im carrying and when she saw her new watch, she was jumping in awe and told me, "Wow kitty watch! Thank you Mama"... hehe. She thought that i was the one who bought it for her.

Si hubby naman natatawa lang kay Tami and after a while, she told Tami that its not me who bought the watch, he said that its xmas present from her Ninang Kit aside from the US dollar that she sent (Thanks Kit).

Tami immediately wore the watch. She always uses it when going to school. Kahit nga ako type ko yung watch, parang gusto kong isuot...

First Package for New Year...

We received the package last Dec. 31, 2010. Hubby's cousin Annalyn told me that she send a package around October and since US customs was so strict with the packages going to Philippines because of the bomb scare,she said that all the packages was subject to hold for inspection, expect the package to arrive on January. And we never expect that it will arrive earlier than January.

Dec. 31, Papa called me in the office telling me that the courier wants to talk to me because the package arrived in my inlaws house and they need my authorization so they can leave the package to them. After confirming, the box was released to them. That afternoon, they send the box to our apartment.

ALAS cargo shipping

Relatives in US are sending Balikbayan box quarterly and they're using this ALAS cargo shipping. Shipping is fast and i think that they handle the goods with care. The latest shipping arrived last week and we we're excited to open the box (as usual).

US goods...

Yesterday, nagpunta sa haus si unc ike para idaan yung mga padala smen from US.

Again thank you sa inyo...hehe..

To cantos family: sabi ni badz ang sarap daw nung chunky cookies, kasi kaya daw nyang ubusin mag-isa yun, next time padalan mo ulit kami non ha...meron kaya d2 non? Yung chocolate ko bitin! haha...sabi ni mama parang konti lang yata daw padala nyo, sabi ko naman laman nung balikbayan box is wheelchair, nagsingit lang kayo ng padala....

To BJ: thanks sa damit...ang galing mo pumili kasi tamang-tama yung padala mo pati yung character...dati kasi si Mickey and type ni tami, ngaun nman si spongebob....sinukat nya yung padala kaya eto ang pics... Thanks nga din pla sa polly pocket dolls, and mahal non ah...cuz, bili mo nman ako new bag...kasi mejo luma na yung Gap and Lacoste ko, yung dooney nman ang liit...gusto ko mejo malaki ha...hehe...

Package

Kagabi naka-leave ako kaya dere-deretso akong natulog, nagulat na lang ako nung ginigising ako ng yaya ni tami, may naghahanap daw sken na babae....tita ko pala, dumating na daw yung balikbayan box na padala nila tta leris, hinatid lang nya smin...

FYI sa Cantos Family (sila yung consistent na laging nagpapadala ng US goods sa Silverio family at laging tumutulong pag may problem)
