Tami's 6th Birthday Party in Mcdonalds

Another photo heavy post.

Last Saturday (April 14) was my daughter's advance birthday celebration in Mcdonalds. At first i was worried because i counted those who texted that they will attend the party and the confirmed attendees reached more than 100. I only reserved 100 pax for the day (70 adults and 30 kids). Hubby told me to be ready because most of his agents will come too. I kept on counting kasi baka kulangin ako that day, di ko pa naman dala ang atm ko dun. Hubby has exact money with him.

Buti na lang wala din kaming kasabay na party that day kasi the venue  (room 1) is good for 80 pax only and since we reached 100 guests, Mcdonalds allowed us to use the other party room.

Party has this banner in front of the venue.

Mcdonalds themes

The venue (room 1), on the left side with the sliding door was the room 2

We arrived in the place 30 minutes before the actual party to check the place. We brought the lootbags that morning so the mcdo staff can arrange it before the party.

The lootbags

Ang cute ng lootbags no? Most of the guests were asking me where i got it and told them that its from Divisoria. Some were also planning to buy that bag for their kid's party. Its available in different colors too.

Camera Toy, Coloring Book, Stickers, Notepad and Toy

The birthday girl on the start of the program. She was telling me that day na sa next birthday party naman daw nya ay sa Jollibee. Grabe ang anak ko, marunong ng mamili.

Red Ribbon Cake

I was supposed to buy the princess design kaya lang dapat daw at least 3 days advance order. Wala naman akong time na pumunta pa dun just to order cake. When we brought the giveaways in Mcdo that morning, nagpunta na rin ako sa Red Ribbon to buy this cake.

Mcdonalds did not allowed to serve the cake. Pero kung sa kanila binili yung cake, i-serve daw nila yun. We just divide the cake and gave some to relatives as their take home.

Photos from the party:

As you can see, mas marami pa ang guests na adults kesa sa kids. Some of Tami's classmates weren't able to attend for some reasons. We only have 4 kids in the family tapos hindi pa nakarating yung isa, on hubby's side of the family naman konti lang din ang naka-attend because some has work at hindi available yung iba. Happy pa rin naman kahit yung iba hindi nakarating, umabot pa rin ang guests ng almost 100 pax :)

The only kids in the party.

When its time to blow the cake, nabawasan pa ang kids... But its ok because Tami enjoyed this part :)

The party ended at 6:30pm, buti na lang hindi kami pinagbayad ng extra charges dahil lumampas kami ng 2hrs. With the reservation of 100 pax, we had excess of almost 15 food for kids while i order another 5 take-out orders for adults because my brother requested takeout food.

All in all, the Mcdonalds party were fun. My daughter was thanking her guests for coming to her party and she did enjoy her birthday. The host was lively that we keep on laughing especially with the games.

Before i end this post, we just wanna thank everyone who gave gifts to Tami (she was really happy with the gifts, lahat gusto nya) and to my titas who gave money as their gift, nakabawi ako ng 30% sa gastos.. haha

So, bye muna ngayon. Hubby and I has diamond peel treatment schedule at RVB cosmetics later at 5pm then we'll go to my aunt's place in Sta. Cecilia for dinner, its my cousin's 21st birthday :)

Tami's day

Today is the birthday of my daughter and since we gave her the party that she wants last Saturday, i bought cake today for her to blow the candle. We were supposed to be dining out in one of the nearby restaurants but when i arrive in our house, my MIL cooked Spaghetti and dinner for us. Simple celebration for the family.

The cakes...

Dulce de Leche and Brazo de Mercedez

I also bought 5 pcs candle...

And the celebrant is excited to blow the candle.

I also bought Brazo de mercedez because i miss eating this cake.

We let the celebrant slice the cake...

We're about to start our dinner. I just want to greet my baby a Very Happy Birthday. I wish you good health and more birthdays to come. Always remember that Mama and Papa loves you so much. Be a good girl.

Happy Birthday Tami....

I have so many post to make but so little time :(

Picky-eater Tami..

When the yaya and my daughter arrived from my in-laws house. The yaya told me that Tami didnt eat rice and ulam in my inlaws house. This is one of our problem, our daughter hardly eats rice and ulam pero try to give her 1 plate of Pasta or 2 slice of pizza, ubos nya yan!

I dont know what to do or what to give to her. If hubby dont eat fish and veggies, Tami dont eat rice, kailangan sapilitan pa, example i prepare food for her, say isang platitong rice and ulam (mga 5 spoonsful), hindi nya pa mauubos yun or it will take 2 hours bago maubos yun, ganung katagal...

That saturday afternoon, i bring Tami to Jollibee just to eat Spaghetti.

I tried the Sprite-Watermelon float. Love the taste!

After we ate, we headed to Grocery and bought some snacks. I also aked Tami what baon she want in her school. When we do grocery, i let her get her baon for the whole week.

The yan-yan snack was her new choice, nagsawa na siguro sa Oreo cookies. The Dutch Mill Yogurt milk was her always baon. I dont want her to drink Tetra pack juices because i heard that its not good for the kids.

She also get this pack because of the ice-drop maker.

Tha pack contains 2 big tetra pack of Chuckie Chocolate milk and the ice-drop maker.

After cleansing the icedrop maker, i taught tami how to refill it so she can do it by herself.

Ready to freeze the chocolate milk.

Any suggestions on how Tami will eat rice? I tried Appebon vitamins but her pedia said that vitamins for appetite is not good if it continues because the suggested time is up to 3 months only.

Fashionista Tami?

Today (Saturday) is my parents-in-law's wedding anniversary and they'll be going to Batangas Resort for swimming. This morning, when i woke up, i saw Tami wearing this:

She said she'll go with Mommy (Lola) and Lolo to swim. In her bag is her swimsuit.

Remember the terno dress that i posted few days ago?

Standing by hubby's side. Tami and her yaya will go with my in-laws. Hubby will go to work later and me will have an appointment this morning with client.

My daughter knows how to dress na... Can't wait that she grows older and that we can share things like bags, jewelries etc..

Qwertymon as they say...

Hubby has a facebook account, but did you know that aside from him, my daughter also uses his account? Yes, she knows how to open hubbys account, she looks at updates, photos and play all day long while watching Disney channel. So wag na kayong magugulat if during the day he's online but it was not him. When hubby decided to open his account because he needs to send message to his tropa, hubby was so shocked because of the number of notifications in his fb account. He checked it and found out that Tami made a lot of comments to some of his friends wall including mine.

Here are some of tamis comments using my hubbys account:

This is just some of her comments on my wall. Even on the wall of hubby's batch page, nag-comment din sya dun kaya imagine the notifications na na-receive nya dun sa page ng Perps batch '98 (hubby's high school batch)... O dba? panalo sa comment si Tami! My officemate called Tami as Qwertymon, parang Jejemon lang hehe, hindi maintindihan ang sinasabi...

Pero guys, my daughter Tami is just 4 yrs old kaya intindihin na lang ang bata.. She's still on the process of exploring things, nagkataon lang na "in" ang facebook kaya yun ang ine-explore nya.. hehe

Samantha's 1st day in school

After the 1 week of workshop last May, i learned that Tami will be on the first section of the nursery in Camella school. I filed my leave for 2 days to accompany my daughter and also watch her on her first day. They are only 11 in their class.. All the parents were outside the classroom unless their child will be having tantrums and thats the time that the parent or guardian will be allowed inside the room. You can also watch them through the glass window of the room...

Tami was seated on the 2nd row in front...

Here she is checking her table and other things..

The teacher is teaching them some actions of the dance... And my baby is very active participating with the class..

Doing some actions...

This is the time when the teacher explain to them that its their time to have the snack, 15 mins break and after that, they have another 30 mins. playtime... The teachers assist the kids on preparing their snacks...

Here is the playroom beside the classroom. I like their room, lots of toys to play and for sure kids will enjoy their time here..

Busy playing with some of her classmates...

After 30 mins., the teachers taught them to fall in line going back to their room...
Tami is one of the tallest in nursery and im so glad that she's very active and enjoying the day..

I just hope that tami will not get bored as the days go by because she knows the lesson that the teacher taught them. I tried to show her the books that they are going to use for the whole year and ask her some questions and she knows all of them...

Classes will start soon!

In the next few weeks, classes will start and my daughter is excited with the thought that shes going to school everyday. I enrolled her in the nearest private school in our house and she's now attending the free workshop for a week.

I accompany her on the first day and i saw what they do in the classroom. The teacher taught them to dance, pray, color and they ask the kids to identify colors, shapes, number, animals..etc.. And tami was bright to answer it correctly. Hubby's cousin accompany my baby on her remaining days at the workshop and everytime they got home, my daughter always has a star. Hubby's cousin told us that according to her teacher, she is attentive and smart. With the 15 kids attending the workshop, they're only two who always got the star. Im very proud of my daughter because she's fast-learner, considering  that i dont have time teaching her, maybe she got her intelligence to hubby. Its a good thing that she watch disney on tv because it also helps. My daughter is english-speaking and she got her slang on the cartoons that shes watching, feeling ko nga mas magaling pa syang mag-english sa akin...I know im not that good in english..and who cares?

Anyway, after my bora trip, i need to attend to my daughter's school needs because according to them, the classes will begin on the 7th of June. I went to school to inquire about the required supplies and here it is:

     - School and PE uniform (will be purchased in school)
     - School supplies (need to buy in school bec. their notebook has the school logo)
     - Black shoes and white rubber shoes
     - Bag

     What else?

When your child is starting to go schooling, this will cost you a lot since the pre-school is more expensive than elementary grade school... Am i right?

Tami's 4th birthday

April 17. The day before my baby celebrate her birthday, my cousin kuya bing went to our house to personally greet tami and give his gift. Hubby and I decided one thing - no party for tami this year. Why? because the Hongkong trip is our gift to her since he kept on saying she wants to go to Mickey's house (she always see disneyland park in Disney channel).

Thanks to Kuya bing for the gift - Mossimo shirt and 2 dresses. Saktong-sakto yung size nung dress kay tami..perfect for summer.

Sunday. April18. Hubby woke tami up and greet her a "Happy Birthday". Tami replied "Where's my balloon?" Hehe. We didn't expect that she will expect some balloon, maybe she knows that birthday comes with balloons. I was thinking that day where can i buy a piece of balloon?

Since we want her to feel that it's her day, I went to Goldilocks and bought some goodies like puto, mamon, polvoron and of course the birthday cake, my mother-in-law cooked Spaghetti, Pancit Bihon, and some macaroni. We only have some relatives as tami's guests.

When its time to blow the candles. All of us sings Happy Birthday and tami was smiling while we sang. She also wore one of kuya bing's gift.

After we ate, we surprised her with our gift, i bought 2 gifts at SM. One from hubby and one from me. She was really excited while unwrapping the gifts. The best part is when she say "thank you Mama, thank you Papa", with feelings pa yan...
