Gong Cha Time with Hubby's cousin

I was thrilled when i saw the newly opened Gong Cha in ATC's new wing when hubby and i was in ATC last time. Hubby's cousin accompany me yesterday to bring my stool in Healthway ATC for my medical checkup, we went to new wing after and hubby's cousin smells the aroma coming from Gong Cha so we went there and bought our drinks.

Its my second time to have Gong Cha so I recommend the Wintermelon Milk Tea for Ate Che because it was her first time so dapat house specialty para di ma-dissapoint agad. hehe.

I had naman that Earl Grey Milk Tea in the picture above. I was trying to have different flavor naman and it didn't dissapoint. My drink consists of Pearl, Pudding and Grass Jelly and i told to have the 70% Less Sugar because i want my drink to be empowered by tea instead of milk.

 Like what i've said in my previous post about Gong Cha, im still sure of myself that Gong Cha is still the best and my number 1 milk tea. 

Without anything to do, we walk around and pass by the Home store area at the end of new wing. We went to Play and Display and other furnitures store in ATC to scout some cheap finds and inquire for our house.

We also saw this Red Door Candle store and Ate Che was enjoying her stay in that store, maybe because of the fragrant candles kaya type na type nya yun. She even bought this candle kasi Buy 1 Take 1. Perfect daw for our room because its scent spread when lighted.

Anyway, maganda rin pala yung may ganito sa room. Kasi nag-iiba yung mood because of the fragrance... Parang ang romantic din.. Yun lang dapat bantayan at baka mahagip ng curtains or ng blanket... Imbes na maenjoy ang gabi, baka maging disaster.. hehe

Gong Cha Milk Tea on Job Hunting

Last friday, i went with a friend to go job hunting. Wala kasi akong magawa sa bahay so i joined her going to Makati. She knew that i don't have plans of working soon and that i just want to go somewhere kasi super bored na ko sa house. I passed some resumes too in some companies and will just wait for their calls. Well hindi naman agad tatawag yung mga yun so i will enjoy na lang my vacation and hubby wishes that im going to get pregnant so soon :)

By the way, a week before leaving my previous company. I have series of checkups kasi kailangan sulitin ang HMO card.. hehe. One of my tests that i attended to is trans-v and im happy that im not polycystic anymore and its all normal. My OB was telling me that i am now ready to get pregnant... Kaya lang hindi pa ready ang bulsa namin.. haha

Gong Cha Milk Tea

While going around, i saw Gong Cha and immediately bought a Large Wintermelon Milk Tea to beat the scorching heat of the sun. It was my second time to try Gong Cha and i like it more from Tea Farm.. I don't know what's with Gong Cha pero iba talaga ang lasa nya.. I really crave for more Gong Cha Milk Teas.. Hello thousands of calories :(

Anyway, back to Job Hunting.. I have kwento and it really dissapoint me. We went to this company in The Fort and one of the HR talked to us. He got our resumes and talked in one of the rooms. He was asking some questions on why we are going to apply in their company and what is our expected salary. After talking with our current salary, he was shocked as to how big our salary compared to their accounts and that he turned us down and his reason was they cannot afford to offer the same or above our current salary. He was encouraging us to go look somewhere that will offer us good compensation package.

This really upset me because once and for all, I am with my previous company for years at talagang lalaki ng ganun ang salary ko because of my performance and tenureship. Its so hard to explain to them that you're not really after the job offer kasi eventually lalaki din naman yun in time eh. Kahit nga PhP15,000 ok na sakin eh... (Ang plastic! hahaha)  They turned us down without looking with our experience and achievements :(

Its not our lost anyway... International company pa naman.. Tsk. Tsk.

Will try again next time na maghanap ng work pag wala akong gagawin. For the meantime i will keep myself busy with my online store :-)

Verdict:

Same lang ng lasa ng other brand ng milk teas kaya lang with Truebrew and bilis mawala nung lasa kasi sobrang daming ice :( 

I miss Tea Farm...

Serenitea in ATC

Last thursday, i didn't go to work because i went to post office and send goods to US. I texted hubby about it and told him that im going to mall and we can meet after his work.

After doing errands, i went to Alabang town center because i want to go to Rustans and look for possible gifts for my relatives and godchildren on christmas. As much as i want to go to Divisoria, baka hindi na rin ako makapunta kasi wala na kong time because of our workload in the office. Come December, all the weekends are all fully booked with parties... oo kami na talaga ang busy!

When i arrive in ATC, i saw Serenitea again, parang hinihila yung paa ko dun...

I always pass by this booth whenever im in ATC pero di talaga ko nabili because i had a bad experience with Milk Tea before. Since i heard a lot of positive reviews about Serenitea, i went and fall in line para ma-try and see why people loved it.

I scan the menu looking for their bestsellers because as a first-timer ang hirap talagang pumili. Mabuti na yung bestseller ang hanapin para di ako madissapoint.

According to their FB page, you can customize your drinks with this 3 steps:

1. Choose your Tea

2. Decide the sugar level.

3. Add sinkers to add texture.

If your first-timer like me, don't hesitate to ask the servers or the cashier so they can recommend or explain to you on how to customize your drink para naman you can have one of the best Serenitea drink.

From the top 10, i chose the Wintermelon Milk Tea in medium size for only P95.00.

The counter where they make the orders. You just have to give your name ala Starbucks and they will call you once your drink is ready.

The servers are fast because i didnt wait that long for my drink.... My wintermelon milk tea with black pearls...

Ang cute nung lalagyan no? Perfect for the upcoming holiday...

I sat on the provided tables and chairs for customers, thinks of something that im going to do in ATC while waiting for hubby. After drinking and making muni-muni, i leave the store and went to Daiso (my fave thrift shop in ATC)...

After having my first Serenitea drink, im beginning to love milk teas again. Im going to try their Yakult drinks and Okinawa Milk Tea next time.
