Boring Day #Monopoly

Playing time for me and my daughter.

Tami and I are both early riser. I trained her to sleep at 9pm that's why she wokes up around 7am to 8am. 

Before she goes to school almost everyday we play Monopoly while watching cartoons. She knows how to play Monopoly and learned to use the play money. Its also a practice for her in adding big numbers.

Yan ang ginagawa namin pag boring kami pareho. Bonding na rin kasi namin yun :)

Dinner at Boon Tong Kee, Mall of Asia

Last time, my officemate/friend scheduled a dinner night-out with our close friends from work. She treated us because her husband came back from Japan. It was also an opportunity for us to talk about business, our planned business and hopefully it will pushed thru. We came from our previous company (a financial institution) and now four of us are not connected anymore. So its like a reunion for all of us. Eventhough were not officemates now our communication is still there and our friendship remains the same. #Thankful

When we arrived in MOA, wala kaming makitang kainan kasi puno lahat. Payday eh! We can't transfer to San Miguel bay because its raining that time. We settled to Entertainment complex and found Boon Tong Kee located across the Highland Steakhouse near the IMAX theater. It's a Singapore franchise and first in Manila.

In 1979, Mr. Thian Boon Hua started a small stall in Chinatown serving Cantonese chicken rice. Building upon the popularity of his silky white sauce chicken rice and emphasis on quality service, he rallied his family members to establish Boon Tong Kee’s first restaurant at Balestier Road in 1983.

In its second year of operation, the restaurant started to garner rave reviews and accolades from industry luminaries and customers. Before long, outlets at MacPherson Road, Whampoa West, River Valley Road, Cheong Chin Nam Road and East Coast Road followed in rapid succession.

The company diversified its operations in 1999 to include "Zi Char" (home-style cooked food) and eateries. From the traditional Balestier Road outlet to the upscale River Valley branch, Boon Tong Kee has enthralled Singaporeans and tourists alike with its delectable food and friendly staff.

Here's our Dinner. We ordered the restaurant's recommendations:

Deep Fried Stuffed Fritter

Just like Lumpiang Shanghai but bigger in size. 

Poached Chinese Spinach with Assorted Egg

Crispy Bean Curd

Its always been my favorite. This cute nugget-look-a-like with crispy outer part and soft in the inside is really good paired with Wasabi Mayo :)

Chicken Rice for all of us.

Came in pyramid style.

Signature Boiled Chicken

We ordered this because its their signature dish just like Wee Nam Kee's.  Best combined with sauces.

For our drinks (no photo), most of us ordered fresh buko juice while the couple ordered Barley and lemonade.

Our table location is outside the restaurant and its perfect while watching the fireworks. Kaya lang when the fireworks started people kept coming in and stayed at the railings. In short, our table was surrounded with people watching fireworks. Kainis dba? Buti na lang tapos na kaming kumain that time kasi mawawalan ka ng gana. Nevertheless, our dinner was fantastic.

Celebration of Papa's 60th Birthday

September 7 was the actual birthday of my FIL but since it falls on a weekday, we moved the celebration the next day (Saturday). We had a simple celebration with only relatives and a few church friends as the celebrant's guests.

The party started at 5.30PM onwards and in time for dinner. Would you believe that i was late? hehe. I arrived past 7pm and i didn't have the chance to take some photos before the party started. Buti na lang may photos si Juvy, my sister-in-law. The celebrant had a blast, he was so happy that most of his siblings were present. Wala lang yung mga nasa America.

It's Payday!!!

Its not what you think. I dont have work to expect a salary twice in a month. In the industry where i am now, income is a one time bigtime for every deal that we close with a client and im happy that i earn more here than having an 8-hr job in the corporate world :) Sarap talaga sa sales! Kahit malaki ang kita ko d2 i have to be kuripot na and save more for our future. #practical

Back to topic. Here's what im talking about:

Payday Chocolate

To be honest, its my first time to see this kind of chocolate and its from Nestle and made in USA. Meron pala nito? Bigay lang kasi sakin to.. hehe

Just like snickers, this particular bar has caramel and coated with lots of peanuts. Not that sweet but good enough to satisfy my sweet tooth.

One of my Malas Days..

Hubby called me yesterday para mag-gala sa SM. Since wala naman akong ginagawa i agreed and went there before 4pm. I was about to enter the mall when my fitflop strap broke! It was really dissapointing and embarassing at the same time. Haller! nasa mall ako at ang daming nakatingin while im walking :(

Buti na lang din at nasa mall ako, makakabili agad ako and Havaianas was the nearest store. I went there and chose the cheapest one. I texted hubby about it and told me na bakit hindi daw Fitflop na lang ulit binili ko. While waiting i was thinking of some reasons kung bakit nga hindi na lang ulit fitflop ang binili ko..

Of all the reasons, it is more valid to say that i dont have work now and i dont have much budget to splurge on some things that is not so important. Im more practical now. Clap! Clap! Clap!

FIL's 60th!

Happy 60th Birthday Papa!

Yesterday was the actual 60th birthday of my father in law and we will be celebrating today. Senior Citizen ka na Pa, congrats! hahaha. It will be a busy day for all of us since the party will be here in the house later. We are expecting at least a hundred guests. Whew! 

Of course im not sitting here in front of the computer the whole day, im here to help. I have some errands to do also like getting the tarpaulin to the printing shop and going to office for some updates. Sana matuloy magpa-reserve yung buyer ko later :)

Also, its Mama Mary's birthday today! Time to pray and thank her for all the blessings she showered us.

Lovin' my Blackberry Bold and Cobo

For almost every other day since Cobo opened, it became my tambayan with cousins, friends over meetings etc... Im really addicted to Milk Tea and Cobo is the closest from our place that serves good milk tea just like Gong Cha, Serenitea and other Tea players.

I tasted almost half of the drinks from the menu and so far im loving all of it. Yesterday was again another tambay mode with Kuya Bing while waiting for hubby. We also talked about our proposed business and im also updating my new BB Bold.  Thanks to my sponsor :)

Well, BB really helped me with my online store and being a Property Consultant i need to be online always (Email, Facebook, BBM etc). Hindi ko na yata kayang mawalan ng BB and im loving this Bold.

Cobo Pressoteas in Roast Oolong

Pressoteas are perfectly brewed and if you love your milk tea na mas matapang ang tea over milk, definitely pressoteas ang katapat nyo.. hehe. We also ordered Fried Kuchai Dumplings and Kuya Bing liked it.

If you drop by this place, dont forget to try their fried siomai and kuchai dumplings because its good. Drinks price range from PhP80 to PhP110 while the fried siomai, sharksfin and kuchai costs PhP49.00.

Cobo is located beside the Mongolian Restaurant near Times. Its free wi-fi too so you'll surely enjoy the place :)

Brunch at Shakey's Times with Hubby

Last Sunday, i went with hubby's 2 agents together with my other buyer for a trip because they're planning of acquiring a property. Hubby also joined so we were full in Innova service. Parang road trip lang.. We started tripping at 8.30am and ends after lunch that makes us really hungry.

We were inviting them for a brunch but refused to join because they have some errands to do so hubby and I went alone to Shakey's. Its been a while since i visited Shakey's and i was wondering what's new until the server inform us of their new offer.

Online Shopping in Zalora Philippines

Since i became a full time Property Consultant, i rarely go to mall because of my busy schedule. My routine for everyday goes like this:

Morning: When hubby's on morning shift, i wake up at 4am to prepare him for work like giving him coffee and sometimes prepare his things. When he left the house, i do naman my things like going online and check my emails etc. When Tami's awake, I make sure that she eats breakfast up to lunch and prepare her for school then i will rest when Tami left the house.

After lunch: I go online again and if i have to go to office i will leave the house and will go back late afternoon or sometimes gabi na because of the tripping to different property locations. So it was also tiring to be an agent but rewarding once you closed a deal :)

Anyway, hubby mentioned  last week that he will be one of the godfathers in his Project officer's daughter. The christening will be on September 9 and i have no time to buy gifts. My officemate mentioned Zalora because she bought a bag there. I checked it and registered.

My Pick

There are lots of items to choose from and when i saw the Baby Mickey Havs i showed it to hubby and approved as his gift to his new inaanak. I also bought Lip Balm for me :)

My only worry then is the shipping, minsan kasi delay ang mga online store mag-ship but Zalora is very fast naman... I order my pick Saturday morning, according to the site im going to wait for the Zalora customer service call for the confirmation of my order so i expect the call to be on weekdays pa kasi Saturday pa lang... Saturday night at exactly 8:25PM, someone's calling my name outside the house, kala ko kung ano na, yun pala delivery na nung Zalora... Ang bilis dba?

Trying Ochado in SM Southmall

Last time  that i went to Southmall i saw this newly opened stall named Ochado. I was intrigued and discover  that its a new milk tea place in SM. I was handed a flyer and saw their must-try.

3 flavors of their best-sellers..

Ive known Matcha flavor since i heard of Tea Farm in Ayala Makati and it became one of my favorite together with my friends. The only difference with the Ochado Matcha is the Azuki Beans. 

I bought the Okinawa Matcha Milk Tea to taste and compare when combined with red beans.

Ochado Milk Tea Large (PhP 110.00) 

The tea was good when blended with the Azuki beans or what we call as red beans. The sugar level is at your choice and i recommend the average level.
