Have you seen the new Peso bill? According to some internet sites and BSP site, the new notes will be released in time for christmas and will be complete by January 2011. Old notes can be used until the next 3 to 4 years so no need to worry if you have coinbank with paperbills inside because even if its more than 3 yrs, you can still change the old notes to your bank.

Ang ganda ng new notes dba? Makulay sya and it shows more of the highlights in our country like the Mayon Volcano, tarsier and the Underground River to name a few. Also, other purpose of the new notes is the additional security to avoid counterfeiting of the notes.
When i saw the new bills, I called BDO and ask reservation of the new notes. Every christmas, i always request a breakdown of xx,xxx to be given away to some kids, sa mga inaanak ko na kahit malalaki na namamasko pa at syempre sa mga jutanders hehe...

can i ask kung available din ang mga new design notes sa ibang bangko. balak ko rin kasi ipa-change yung banknote ko parang sa'yo. thanks.
ReplyDeleteHi Nathan. Thanks for visiting my blog. As far as i know, konti lang yung na-release last quarter of 2010 and mostly P20 bills lang. Better ask some banks about it.
