Finally! After 2 weeks of delay. US goods package has arrived!

We were expecting this 2 weeks ago and my Aunt followed it up in Alas Cargo US, she was informed that the whole shipment where our box is included was held in custom. Thank goodness it was released very soon dahil ang dami ng naghihintay :)

I thought of calling the Alas Cargo here in Manila but i dont have their number at wala rin sa internet. When the delivery came this morning, i asked the driver and the staff of their contact number just in case we have questions regarding our expected package...

Xin Wang HongKong Cafe, Mall of Asia

Last saturday, hubby together with his 2 agents went to MOA. While on their way, hubby called me if i want to go in MOA to check Uniqlo. They fetched me in Mcdo and the four of us went to MOA. We were looking first on where to eat kasi sobrang gutom na daw sila and we tried this new cafe called Xin Wang Hongkong Cafe located near the SM Imax.

This was not new to my palette but hubbys 2 agents were first timers with this kind of restaurant.

My drink. It was a combination of milk tea and coffee and their best seller too.

 Fried Spring Rolls

Hubby ordered this and thought it was just fried lumpia because of the picture in the Menu but when it landed our table, it looks like Turon with sauce and this was really good.

 Sambal Seafood with Egg and Rice

This meal was ordered by one of his agent. According to him masarap daw. Muka nga kasi naka-tatlong rice sya eh... :)

Hakao

I got really excited when I saw Hakao in the menu but its name is different from what we know. I ordered this for me and the Chicken Porridge (Sorry no photo). After tasting my first bite, it didnt dissapoint. I also like the Porridge.

 Bulgogi Meal (dont remember the exact name)

This was hubby and the other agent's order. If you're a fan of Korean food, then you'll know what Bulgogi is.


After our meal, i asked them what they can say about the restaurant and the food. One of hubby's agent was really dissapointed, i know that he will be because based from hubby they're not fond of korean food so his order of Bulgogi was a huge disappointment to him. I love the Kimchi though.


Did you know that food in this restaurant is really affordable? All our orders costs P1,300++ only. Thanks hubby for the treat :)

After eating merienda we went to Uniqlo because we want to buy jeans and shirt. We fall in line until we got inside and we were dissapointed because the sizes of the jeans are all for small frames. We look naman for shirts and when we saw the line to dressing room, we were turned off and we backed out. We will check na lang some other time.

Boring day at Starbucks

The other day, i was so bored in the house so i went to Starbucks and brought the Fifty Shades book. I bought the other Hojicha Frap with Earl Grey Jelly and made tambay while reading the last chapter of the book. 

Coño lang ang peg. hehe I stayed in Starbucks for almost 2 hours! San ka pa?

By the way, after tasting the Hojicha Green Tea and Hojicha Tea Jelly, i prefer the latter :)

Father's Day Dinner at Lido, Las Pinas

Last Father's day, we didn't go out in a mall nor did any activities related to Father's day, instead hubby accompany me in going to site tripping with his 2 agents. They're planning of acquiring a property and hubby went with us, nahihiya daw kasi sakin yung mga agents nya.. Nyek! Ano ba yun?

After going with 3 property site, we ended the tripping at 6pm and in time for dinner. After dropping his agents to Alabang we decided to have a quick dinner in Lido, the Home of Roasted Pugon. We were exhausted that day, tripping to different locations is really tiring but its worth it especially when you close the deal :)

 

We arrived in Lido with full of diners so we were 2nd on the waiting line, we were about to give up when the server called our name. Maybe ginawan nila ng paraan since dalawa lang kami.. Pwede ng isiksik on any part of the place. hehe

We were first timers in Lido so hindi namin alam kung ano ang oorderin namin. We just looked at the menu and order kung ano yung mukang masarap sa picture :)

So far we liked the food in Lido. We love the Pork Siomai and the Wanton too. But i dont know when we will be back to try again other choices from the menu.

Did you know that the famous Rufo's will be open beside Lido? Im excited... I tried it once pa lang in Makati with the relatives and i wanna go back with hubby naman :)

Truebrew Milk Tea

And so we asked what's their best seller and they recommend the Wintermelon Milk Tea...

Verdict:

Same lang ng lasa ng other brand ng milk teas kaya lang with Truebrew and bilis mawala nung lasa kasi sobrang daming ice :( 

I miss Tea Farm...

Late Night Date at Starbucks..

Since i have no work now, i feel bored in the house pag wala akong ginagawa and hubby knows about it! I even shouted in my FB account that im bored, i miss working *sob* but sometimes i feel fulfilled taking care of my daughter and doing some rakets. When im still in the corporate world, my part time income came from being a real estate agent and now that i dont have work, part-time ko pa rin yun.. haha

Whenever hubby leaves the house for work, i go with him walking hanggang sa kanto (its part of my exercise hehe)... I mentioned to him na im going to apply by July but he said magpahinga daw muna ako para daw mabuntis ako.. Part of me says No, i dont want to be pregnant again because im scared of needles and hospital kaya lang nakakaawa din naman because Tami always says she wants a baby sister while hubby wants a baby boy.. Ano ba talaga, dba?

Anyway, last weekend.. he changed shift again from night shift to morning shift and that saturday night niyaya nya kong tumambay sa Starbucks. We went to Jollibee first and bought Champ then to Starbucks..

Hubby has Jollibee champ and Coffee Jelly while i chose the new Starbucks offer, the Hojicha Green Tea with Red Beans and the Sausage Pizza Bread :)

We went home around 1am na yata yun... Nagkwentuhan lang kami dun while sipping our fraps :)

I love Hojicha! Well, if you love Starbucks Green Tea for sure you will love Hojicha too kasi walang pinagkaiba ang lasa, may additional red beans lang...

Nightlife in Armada, BF Homes Paranaque

Good Evening Guys!!! Im bored kaya mag-blog muna ko while waiting for hubby :)

I remember i mentioned here in my blog that hubby and some of his agents go out at least once or twice a month, its part of their bonding outside work. When he's with some of his previous agents na ka-close nya and naging ka-close ko din, sinasama nya ko and last time we went out in BF Homes, Paranaque.

We were supposed to be in BF Central but we arrived late and it was full already. BF Central is open until 1:30am only and we arrived in BF past 11pm so we look for another place and found Armada Bar. Its located along Aguirre too and its 2 to 3 bars away from BF Central.

Compared to BF Central, Armada has bigger space from Central and has nice ambiance.. I liked it here....

 First thing we did is to order pulutan and drinks. We ordered Pork Sisig, Fried Tofu and 2 orders of Buffalo Wings. Thinking that Buffalo wings is good like what we had from our previous night out, we were so wrong pala that time because we were so dissapointed with Armada's Buffalo wings.

The boys ordered Red Horse in bucket while I and Jay-R had Frozen Margarita in Strawberry flavor which is my favorite :)

Ma Mon Luk siopao in Quiapo

I learned about Ma Mon Luk years ago when my family and i frequent Balagtas, Bulacan (there's my lolo's side of the family) and we always drop by in their QC branch to buy their siopao for our pasalubong and something to eat on our way there. Actually di ko pa nga alam na Ma Mon Luk ang name nya until Kuya Bing mentioned it when we were in Quiapo few weeks ago. Kala ko kasi iba yung binibilhan namin sa QC at iba yung Ma Mon Luk sa Quiapo... Iisa lang pala :)

Everytime we or I go to Quiapo church, at the end of the day i always bought Siopao in this place whether its pasalubong to hubby and Tami or sometimes i eat the siopao on my way home.

This was really like the Long-Ho restaurant in Laguna. Parehong-pareho sila ng itsura at masasarap ang food. Don't let the place deceived you kasi the food is really great!

Sabi nga ni kuya bing, kaya daw masarap kasi for sure marami ng ipis sa sobrang luma na ng place.. Haha

Uniqlo Clothing in Manila

I went home from Tami's school because her new schedule is from 12pm to 5pm. She's now in Grade 1. We enrolled her last May in Prep but since the K12 curriculum will be effective this year, i talked with the school principal and owner and they let my daughter undergo an evaluation  from her grades last year and took exams and see if she can cope up with the changes. She passed and now she's officially a Grade 1 student, i just have to add a certain amount in her tuition fee and bought another set of books and notebooks for Grade 1. Her Prep things will be her reference na lang here in our house. Hay.. Doble gastos tuloy sa books and notebooks :(

Anyway, since i have nothing to do here in the house and while hubby is sleeping, I go online and found Uniqlo, saw the designs of the clothes that we're going to see when it opens in MOA and that makes me so excited. Doing like this kills my time aside from sound tripping, blogging and Youtube streaming... Ang gawain ng walang magawa.. hehe

Uniqlo will be open on June 15, 2012 in Mall of Asia and I can't wait to see the store. Im so excited to go there. Kaya lang wala na akong work so it means i don't have money for luho right now :(

Youtube streaming kills my time especially when im bored and nothing to do. I got to watch TV shows and music videos in youtube. One that caught my attention was this Call Me Maybe video by the famous girls in the fashion and showbiz industry.

My Paparazzi

Today is Tami's first day in school. Since im her yaya now, i went with her in school and wait hanggang sa matapos sya... Boring as it may seem pero wala akong choice eh, part of being a stay-at-home-mom.

Anyway, last time i accompany hubby in his friend's computer shop in Verdant. I was craving for ice cream so we drop by in Mini Stop and bought this Cheesecake flavored ice cream. It was so good!

While im eating my ice cream outside the computer shop, i didnt know that hubby's behind my back na pala, bigla akong tinawag and took this photo. All the while kala ko nasa loob sya because of downloading the game.

It was around 8pm already kaya madilim na... Ang kulit lang kaya pinost ko to, walang magawa eh..

Lunch at Blackbeard's Seafood Island (Family Day)

Last Saturday we went to Southmall because we need to buy Tami's new things for school including bag and shoes, hubby also wants to buy a new pair of Havaianas.

First thing we did is to have lunch and we chose the Seafood Island. Its the newly opened restaurant in Southmall. Though i tried it in ATC before, i still wanna try some other choices in their menu because their food is really good :)

While waiting for our orders, i went outside to withdraw money because as of now they don't accept Debit Card, maybe dry-run pa lang sila kaya wala pa silang machine for cards. After withdrawing money, i bought Coffee Jelly in Starbucks for hubby.
